Travelling party: Couple

The most welcoming campsite. Met on arrival by Anika and she couldn\'t have been more helpful. We were provided with all the information about the site and the island. Also provided with a useful sack to help with recycling. Super location being a short cycle to the villages & a super beach. Finally the chemical toilet clean out facility is the best we\'ve ever experienced in all our years travelling in France. Looking forward to a longer return visit.

Travelling party: Couple

This is a fabulous campsite run by a lovely English speaking Dutch couple Anneke and Freddy, nothing is too much trouble. The campsite is kept immaculate and has a lovely pool with plenty of sunloungers also lovely children’s pool and a pool with slides for older children.
The showers and toilets are immaculate with plenty of hot water.
There is a very nice bar and restaurant on site , again run by a lovely young couple food is excellent including fresh baguettes and croissants etc each morning.
The site is perfectly located for the extensive cycle tracks around the island
We are a couple with a motorhome ,shopping was not a problem as there is a small supermarket in the village and the very large le clerc supermarket is only a 15 min cycle away at Saint Pierre
Would we recommend this site .... most definitely and will be returning again next year.

Travelling party: Couple

We came here after deciding another campsite we had picked on the mainland wasn\'t suitable and were so glad we did! This campsite is really lovely and had everything we wanted . (We are a couple with a Motorhome). The staff are English speaking, very friendly and welcoming. We were able to choose our own pitch. Some pitches have taps on or near the pitch. Suitable for caravans, Motorhomes and tents. Pitches are of good quality wirh grass, some patchy well drained soil and good privacy hedges. They are of a good size and are well spaced. There\'s a heated pool with 3 small slides, plenty of sun loungers and a small kids pool suitable for young children. All the toilets, showers and other facilities are clean and modern. This site is very popular with the British but when we visited in June it was fairly quiet and relaxed with a friendly and sociable atmosphere. There\'s a small bar and basic restaurant plus plenty of local cycle paths. There\'s also a nearby aerodrome if you enjoy plane spotting and we saw several birds of prey flying over head plus a hedgehog one night! There\'s no formal entertainment but we like that . It\'s a great site and would visit again.

Travelling party: Seniors

Pleasant site in good location to cycle to much of the island, 30 mins from Sauvonard Plage, closer to Gautrelle. Flat grassy pitches with hedging, good sanitary facilities. The site is popular with the British - more so than the other 10 sites visited this trip, which could be a plus or a minus??
