Travelling party: Couple

Generous pitches in a quiet rural setting. Pool small but covered and warm. However, toilet block very basic, unheated and not very clean. Water hot in showers, but push buttons only work for a few seconds. Long 45 minute walk to the old city part of Laon, best to cycle or take a taxi as there is a lot to see in the beautiful town.

It was disappointing the worst we have stayed on. Toilets showers were shared we presume to save cleaning cold and need updating. No toilet ,paper or seats. We have stayed in far better for less money.

Travelling party: Couple

Camping La Chênaie is a nice little site with good sized pitches and very clean toilet/shower blocks offering plenty of hot water, although, as with many French sites, no toilet paper or soap is provided. The swimming pool is heated and covered and even open in April. The usual bread and croissant can be ordered from reception and the town of Laon and a large Carrefour supermarket is only a short cycle or drive away. If in the area, we would certainly return in the future.

We had been to this site before, but it has been extended quite a bit with a new reception and an indoor pool, which we didn\'t use. The bloc sanitaire hadn\'t changed though. It is in need of updating, particularly the washing up facilities

Great french campsite, reception staff were lovely, we didn’t eat here and have no children with us, but the kids play area looked good. The bus stop is out on the main road. Pool was the right temperature, not too hot not too cold. Will be back soon.

A very quiet site in April with a lovely lake nearby to walk the dog. The staff were very friendly and we had a good level space with trees all around.

great site in beautiful peaceful setting about three hours south of Calais. didn’t use the pool and only stayed one night. 3 km walk into Laon to see the cathedral. not much else there but lovely walk

awful experience,woken at 4 by people in chalets opposite our pitch.it seemed a large group all going to work. The worst acsi site we have stayed on, sadly.we did complain to reception 1st thing.
