Travelling party: Couple

We stayed here in September. The site we’d initially planned was having work done and had closed early for winter. I would not stay here again. The pitches were tiny and crammed so close together that it sounded like the people in the static caravan on the next pitch were in our bathroom. We could not have manœuvred onto our pitch without a motor mover and even then we were struggling. There was barely room to get round the caravan. The site advertises free WiFi but this is only available in the reception and pool areas, not on your pitch. There is a busy road adjacent to the site; we could hear scooters going up and down until late into the evening. The toilet / shower block was OK, it was heated and pretty clean. I didn’t feel that the site offered value for money.

Lovely campsite with small village in walking distance - with great little shops. Good walks in woods for dog. The swimming pool was lovely and clean as were the showers. Only downside is that pitches tended to be small and in between cabins so it felt a little cramped. Great location if visiting Puy de Fou.

Travelling party: Seniors

Nice small campsite, friendly staff who spoke reasonable English. The pitches were a fair size but scattered over the site amongst chalets which gave a closed in feeling especially when in use. Showers were excellent with large cubicles and plenty of hot water. Only downside with sanataires was no toilet paper, no soap or drier for hand washing. The pool was covered with transparent dome which gave illusion of openness but kept out the wind, lovely jacuzzi. Being out of high season cannot comment on entertainment or food, but looks to have a small area for this.
The local town had a small supermarket and was only 2 miles away. Not a great deal in the town apart for religious stuff, a basilica, church, convent and missionary school.
Ideal site for Puy du Fou, also a good chateau and windmill site nearby
