great site and value for money. facilities immaculate. no gender devision in the sanitary block we used. children (not mine) on site seemed happy with the indoor and outdoor facilities. Pool present but didn’t use it. It’s approx half hour walk to the dog friendly beach… but it’s flat and part of it is through the town with all the beach shops and bars. off season and shops shut between 12 and 3…Bread available br pre order… didn’t use any other restaurant facilities. would stay again.

Travelling party: Seniors

Lovely campsite - quiet out of season with a choice of good pitches. Immaculate facilities cleaned frequently during the day - just one of the sanitary blocks open when we were there but no problems with availability.
Good, clean swimming pool with a cover that can be opened if weather permits.
Lovely friendly helpful staff, both in the office and the cleaning staff. Bar/Restaurant not open out of season but bread can be ordered.
Not a lot in the nearest village of Aiguillon-sur-Mer apart from the market, but slightly further away (although still walking distance) La Faute-sur-Mer has the beach, a range of restaurants and bars, and fresh fish stalls.
We extended our stay as we enjoyed it so much, and would certainly return for another visit to southern Vendee. Very good value at the ACSI price,

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed for 11 nights excellent area for cycling. Site has a good swimming pool. Sanitary facilities were kept immaculate being cleaned several times a day. Site was well maintained. English spoken by staff in reception who very friendly and helpful. We have used several sites in this area over the years and this is certainly one of the best.
