Campsite du Lac ****

A very friendly reception on arrival by a very helpful guy. All the amienaties were spotless and lots of hot water. The swimming pool was very nice. There is a large lake with some wild life next to the campsite. Sat nav may not get you to the site as a motorway junction is missing not going to be built until next year. Google maps will get you there.

What a gem of a campsite. My wife and I stayed for a few days on our way to our return crossing to Portsmouth. Very helpful and friendly staff with the usual bread available at reception every morning. Really quiet and peaceful in early October with a Great Lake to walk around ( 35 minutes ). The showers and toilet facilities were very clean, but however, for you bashful campers they are mixed. Restaurant just outside entrance to site, buffet starter, main course , dessert, carafe of wine, basket of bread. Bon appetite .

I stayed here for one night on my way back to callias and I plan to stay there this year both ways down and back

An excellent site in a superb location alongside a lake with fine walks around it and through woods. Swimming in lake and in a very adequate pool. No food on site but restaurants adjacent to the lake and in the town a few minutes walk away (though these appeared to be open mainly only at mid day). WIFI appeared quite good but a little costly given that the time on line was not accurately recorded. The. Staff were most helpful and friendly.

Brilliant campsite on edge of a interesting village and lake. Good sized pitches and very helpful staff. Area around site has some interesting places to visit.

This must rate highly as a municipal site. Pitches are large but a word of advice, find an electricity point first and pitch within your cable range. English spoken at reception, staff very friendly and closed between 12md and 2pm. Very good toilet facilities with constant hot water. Lovely walks around the lake behind the site and up to the chateau. A trip on the steam train that stops at the site is recommended. Value wise this site was good and I would certainly use this site again

A municipal site with good showers toilets and swimming pool. We had a pitch overlooking the lake and it was a generous size. We loved being able to walk straight out onto the lake and then into to village of Tuffé . It is very small but full of character - we would visit again.

This campsite had a pool which could be opened or closed according to the weather which when visiting out of season would be great if you enjoy swimming. I don\'t due to disability but it doesn\'t stop me appreciating the facility.

Wonderful site with one of the warmest friendly welcomes we have ever had. Nice level pitch over looking the lake which is a good walk/cycle. Has sandy beach for swimming although covered pool on site very good. Easy walk to town with shop and restaurant.

This is a gem of a campsite! Great location on the banks of a lake which has a path for 30-40 minute walk around its perimeter. All facilities are perfectly clean. One very small comment - the shower water is too hot and not adjustable. We were there in very hot weather and a cool shower would have been good. The staff are friendly, informative and very helpful. There is a restaurant serving good food 5 minute walk and the small town of Tuffe is another 15 minutes away. Highly recommended.
