Lovely quiet site with pretty surroundings and tranquil bird song. Pitches amongst trees and hedges with a nice lake opposite for walks. Very helpful friendly owner. It has a covered outdoor pool although quite small. Modern toilets and showers are fine. We visited for 1 night in a motor home and would stay again for a 1 night stopover.

This is a great site we discovered some years ago. we got stuck here during a petrol crises as not enough fuel to get us to Calais. The owner was really helpful and found us fuel locally within two days. since then we always try to stop off for a couple of days at least. Very calm tranquil site. Great walk around the lake and my husband swears the best pain au chocolate in France

I can only endorse what others have already said about this site. It’s a gem, wonderfully tranquil setting right alongside a lake. (Pitches 1-6 are the ones to go for as they overlook the lake. I am currently on pitch 5 typing this and looking out of my caravan window over the flat calm lake, it’s delightful. Lovely helpful and friendly staff, spotless showers with lashings of hot water, seats, soap AND paper in the toilets (not bad for a municipal site,) The lake can be accessed via a gate from the site and it’s about a 40-45 minute stroll around it. 15-20 minute walk into the nearby village (alongside the lake) small supermarket and the Boulangerie (the second one you come to) does fantastic croissants. The nearby cafe du lac does really good lunchtime food (set menu €12.50 inc wine!) but get there for 12:00 because it gets very busy with French workmen (so it must be good!)
Oh and the site Wi-fi is free!
If you want a site to just chill out and relax at this is perfect.

We love this site and this year there is no WiFi charge. Tomas and Crystal are great and very helpful.
The lake and village are lovely. The covered pool can be used even when it’s not that warm. We will be back next year.

A very friendly reception on arrival by a very helpful guy. All the amienaties were spotless and lots of hot water. The swimming pool was very nice. There is a large lake with some wild life next to the campsite. Sat nav may not get you to the site as a motorway junction is missing not going to be built until next year. Google maps will get you there.

What a gem of a campsite. My wife and I stayed for a few days on our way to our return crossing to Portsmouth. Very helpful and friendly staff with the usual bread available at reception every morning. Really quiet and peaceful in early October with a Great Lake to walk around ( 35 minutes ). The showers and toilet facilities were very clean, but however, for you bashful campers they are mixed. Restaurant just outside entrance to site, buffet starter, main course , dessert, carafe of wine, basket of bread. Bon appetite .

An excellent site in a superb location alongside a lake with fine walks around it and through woods. Swimming in lake and in a very adequate pool. No food on site but restaurants adjacent to the lake and in the town a few minutes walk away (though these appeared to be open mainly only at mid day). WIFI appeared quite good but a little costly given that the time on line was not accurately recorded. The. Staff were most helpful and friendly.

Brilliant campsite on edge of a interesting village and lake. Good sized pitches and very helpful staff. Area around site has some interesting places to visit.

This must rate highly as a municipal site. Pitches are large but a word of advice, find an electricity point first and pitch within your cable range. English spoken at reception, staff very friendly and closed between 12md and 2pm. Very good toilet facilities with constant hot water. Lovely walks around the lake behind the site and up to the chateau. A trip on the steam train that stops at the site is recommended. Value wise this site was good and I would certainly use this site again
