very impressed with this campsite. located right on a very picturesque lake with a nice dog friendly walk around. local town is not far to walk and has shops, bars and restaurants. would definitely stay here again

Really nice campsite. Toilets and showers old but well maintained, clean, light and airy.
The guy on reception was really friendly and welcoming.
Bread is available to buy each morning and is of good quality.
Pitches are good sized and well maintained.
The site is next to a nice lake which takes about 40 minutes to walk around.
The only downside, if it is a downside, is that the site is a bit in the middle of nowhere.
We would happily visit again.

Super friendly welcome, spotless toilets & showers, great walking area, Tuffe is lovely to stroll to and have a drink or a bite to eat. Pitches aren't massive but absolutely adequate. Loads of sport facilities nearby plus the lake!

What a gem of a site. Staff very friendly, pitches good size, facilities all very clean & baguette we ordered was lush. Great location by lake. We walked & ran around it..beautiful. Had drink in bar by lake very nice. We were there on a Sunday & the lake was very busy & great to see lots of people enjoying warm weather.

A very pleasant site in a lovely setting amongst trees alongside a large lake.
All of the facilities are clean and well maintained. The toilets and showers reminded me of sites I have visited in the past in France. As I'm English I must report that there are seats on the toilets and paper in them also. Again from an English point of view I must say that both the showers and toilets are mixed.
The staff in the shop are very friendly and helpful.
I would recommend this site and use it again.

Lovely site on edge of lake and if you are lucky enough to get a lakeside pitch, they are huge with lovely views. Owners speak great English and are very helpful. Great that there is paper and hand soap in the toilets too. Super, covered and heated swimming pool and lovely walks around the lake

What a lovely peacefully located site, our pitch overlooked the Lake and was relatively level. Owners were nice and spoke good English. Intended staying for just the one night, but extended to two. Would recommend and definitely use again.

Another superb ACSI site, located in idyllic surroundings, very quiet and peaceful. Our pitch overlooked the Lake (Pitch 1), enclosed with Hedges providing a very private area. The Owner spoke great English and was very helpful, offering us several pitches for our 10m Motorhome. Lovely walk around Lake into the Village of Tuffé-Val-de-la-Chéronne. Brilliant free Wi-Fi & superb facilities, particularly clean and well kept. Highly recommend this site and would stay again. Great price too!!

Very relaxing in beautiful surroundings.Easy walk to the village.Two excellent boulangeries and amazing boucherie/charcuterie. Good access to the lake.The shower blocks and toilets are kept very clean and Thomas and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating of people's needs.Good sized pitches with shade if needed. We have visited 3 times this year for 1 month, 3 weeks and 1 week.The pool is never crowded.Sometimes I am the only swimmer. 7 nights for 6 is a bonus and a really good bar/restaurant at the entrance
