we visited this site early September 2018. The site had a generally run down Appearance. The main toilet block was locked, the smaller toilet block was dirty and all but one toilets had a brush pushed down inside the bowl. We would not \'reccommend this site.
A pretty site with a lake and man made beach. Some of the older toilet blocks were a little tired and needed updating. The best pitches were around the side of the lake. Good site if you are a family but not a quiet peaceful site.
This is the 3rd time on this site and we really enjoy coming here . Staff very welcoming and helpful .surroundings are beautiful and tranquil .toilets are dated but showers warm . It's a good stop over on you way out or back .this time we stayed a week .local town nearby and a big shopping centre 3/4. Km away . Can recommend this site
Good site, very attentive staff. Facilities good and clean. Good walks from site. Wonderful views across the lake from our pitch. We are not keen on lake swimming so would prefer a pool.
This is the second time we have stopped here and the staff are very helpful the location beautiful and peaceful the only thing that wasn't good was the wifi which was very poor and was on and off most of the time . But we will come back again . People are very friendly .
This very large campsite was on the way to the quite season when we arrived. It is based around a lovely lake. Lots of choice of grassy pitches. Good bathrooms. Activities available for kids. Nice relaxing place to stay.
Lovely site as an overnighter or, like us,
for an extended stay. As a fisherman I was disappointed to find the lake infested with small catfish. Good for dog walking. Overall a nice site but probably wouldn't return due to the catfish.
Beautiful site, with very large pitch. Restaurant on site open most evenings. Lovely one hour walk around lake - great for our dog. Was amazed that wifi accessible from our caravan, which was a bonus. Would recommend for families as there is a man made beach on the lake for swimming. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Nice site by large lake. Pitches flat, toilet facilities adequate. Good cycling round lake with access to sports park. Too far away from anywhere outside the site if you have done a long drive to get there.
We stayed here on our way down to Bordeaux. We liked it so much; we stayed for three nights. The pitches were all large and there was different ones all around the lake so a choice for everyone. We stayed near the beach where the pitches were very flat and organised with hedges between the other side of the lake there were huge pitches not as flat but next to the lake if you enjoy fishing. The site was quiet when we went at the end of August but would imagine it would be busy and great for kids mid season. The lake is beautiful and takes about an hour to walk around it you can hire sailing dinghies horses pedaloes and canoes. Wifi is free at the bar and the office. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Showers were not very warm and not much choice of food at the bar although they did sell limited provisions in the shop. I would definitely stop here again and would recommend it. It is really good value our first night was outside the Acsi-period and still good value.
