Lovely peaceful site with friendly and helpful owners. Large pitch but levelling blocks required. Was only going to stay 2 nights but stayed 3 as lots of interesting places to visit and cycling routes in the area too.Only one shower block open because of the time of year. Plenty of hot water and very clean. Would go back.

What do people expect from a campsite nice pitch pleasant souroundings and very clean and tidy with frendly owners.
I unfortunately broke down after arriving at the site. The owner couldn’t do enough he came down with the breakdown guy and translated for me. We were there for 4 days he was so helpful along with a colleague from the office throughout our stay nothing was to much trouble.
If you stay here you will not be disappointed.

Made to feel very welcome feom the moment we arrived. Lots of personalised information about places to visit and bike rides with maps. Large pitch, so big we had 4 small trees for extra shade!
The only issue was the toilet block in the top field which is spotlessly clean but the showers are very old. The other toilet block was new, so perhaps this one will also be updated over the longer term.
Would definitely return to this site if in the area.

Lovely relaxed family run site and made most welcome by Remond , who, even though he had just put the table tennis away for the season, was more than happy to get it out for us. The one toilet block is old fashioned but functions well with good hot showers. Remond was full of useful information and was able to recommend an excellent cycle route. Definitely worth stopping here

Lovely site, with one of the friendliest owners I have come across. Nice sized pitches, and lovely clean facilities. Nothing too much trouble for the owner, and he has some great cycle routes. Local town is very interesting

Overnight stop. Very hot day.
There are good points to this site. One facility block is new and very modern. Small pool, some shade, deckchairs out. Crazy golf available.
Small outside area next to reception, very quaint and new furniture. Limited snacks and drinks available. Bread can be ordered for next day. Some lovely pitches with mixture of sun and shade dotted throughout site.
Pitches are spacious and have character in the main. Lovely wooden carvings of animals dotted around.
On the downside we were only offered a choice of four pitches, presumably as we were only staying one night. Almost no shade. There were other very nice pitches free. Facility block nearest pitch in need of refurbishment. Especially the showers. No toilet paper, no soap(both blocks).
Cannot comment on some categories as no first hand knowledge, so overall score may be lower. All in all a decent overnight stop, handy for ports.

Excellent small site with great owners in a beautiful area. We will be returning here . Look out for the crazy herb garden and the wood carvings but don\'t expect the free drink to be great.
