Travelling party: Couple
If Didier isn’t the manager he should be! He went out of his way to make sure I had access with my own key for disabled facilities. He was so friendly and helpful as was Sylvie. We stayed in May before it was very busy but, I’m sure standards don’t slip when busy. The staff seemed to really care about the site and customers. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Spacious plots..... over hanging trees a problem. Easy walk to small town and Alongside the river. The staff were very helpful and spoke a little English. Toilet block and showers basic. Water could have been hotter.

The site is in a beautiful location, with easy access to sandy beaches along the river. River is shallow and fast flowing, but still safe for all ages to play in. Pretty village with small supermarket etc. all walkable. Staff on the site could not have been more helpful and friendly. Most pitches have some shade.

Travelling party: Seniors
Reception only open a few hours each day; if closed, phone number on door and warden will let you in or give you a code to open the barrier. Five minute walk from small rather uninteresting town, but large recreation area and (river) sand beach adjacent to the site - great for children and/or exercising dogs. There are several pleasant and clearly marked walks in the immediate vacinity. Large, flat emplacements with water and electic points dotted about. Toilet block reasonably clean and main facilities are up a steep slope or steps. A disabled bathroom is at ground level. Water in taps and shower just adequate in warm weather but a bit cool when there is a cold wind as the wash block has no outside door. Overall, a pleasant site with many good features.

Visited this site late April with a camping car, the site is new and work was still in progress, but the toilet and washing facilities were very good, the pitches were a good size but if you wanted shade the mature trees were few and far between this was not a problem for us at the time of are arrival a lot of young planting has been done but will take some time to give cover. The site is on the side of a river ideal for fishing and just a short walk to the local village. Would return to this again as it can only improve in time and we had a enjoyable few days and would recommend this site.
