Travelling party: Couple

Lovely site beside the river. Close to town and we cycled to Sumaur. There was a bread shop nearby and the area was beautiful. Would recommend. The pool was very nice.

Good location. We paid extra for the pitches overlooking the Loire but there is a very busy footpath/cyclepath in-between the pitch and the river, so not very peaceful!
The campsite has a small terrace area which some is undercover but the TV is in the small bar area and they do not allow dogs. We wanted to watch the Euros but instead had to find another place in the village.
I spoke to reception and they were very off hand.

lovely campsite on the banks of the Loire. very dog friendly with great walks either way along the river( or can be cycled) pitches allocated - some under trees ( so perhaps mention when booking if you want a sunny pitch) . friendly staff and lovely clean facilities. Nice bar/ restaurant on site . Montserraux a 10 minute walk with a couple of lovely bars and restaurants too . would definitely return

This is an excellent site and the second time we have stayed here in recent years. Close to village and a good base for visiting nearby Loire villages and chateaux. Staff are very friendly and efficient and the on site restaurant offers excellent quality at reasonable prices Better lighting in the sanitary and wash up areas at night would be beneficial.

Intended to stay for 2 nights but ended up being 4. Paid a little extra for riverside pitch which was large- with good views - a few passersby on the footpath but it was out of season so fairly quiet. Staff were excellent, toilet and shower facilities great . local village good for a drink or to eat , and there are walking and cycling routes from the site to interesting villages / chateaux/ abbey. Overall , a great restful stop on our way back north.
low marks for some facilities as not open.
