Fantastic 2 night stay. Would have liked to stay another night. Close to the beautiful beach and brilliant cycle paths.

This site has got great reviews based on its excellent swimming pool and sports facilities. However we were disappointed with the basics. There was no warm water in the dishwashing area and the water in the showers was exceptionally hot and could not be adjusted. The electric must only be 6 amp as it could not support two appliances being used at the same time.
When checking in at reception in early June with an ACSI card, they tried to charge us way more for 3 nights. When my husband explained that we had ACSI and it was not that price, they reduced it. It was only when he showed the receptionist the price shown on the ACSI app that we paid the ACSI rate per night as advertised, plus taxes
We can\'t comment on the restaurant as we didn\'t try it but looking at the menu we thought it was expensive.
The advertised free bus into the nearby town only runs from July to December, however it\'s about a 20 minute walk into the town where there is a Super U and restaurants etc.
if you have children, they would definitely love here as there is definitely a lot for them to do. The large indoor children\'s pool area was excellent for very young children, while the outdoor pool had slides and a play area for older children. During our visit in early June the small shop on site was open until 11 in the morning., the snack bar was closed and the animations were only on at the weekend.

This is a large, family friendly campsite in a popular holiday area with good, clean facilities.
We stayed over a bank holiday weekend and it was very busy - and unfortunately there was a lot of loud music from many of the holiday lodges playing well into the night.
The food at the site restaurant was good and the service was very friendly.
This is an ideal campsite for young families.
