An outstanding campsite. The staff where amazing helpful and couldn't do enough for everyone. Alway smiling. Well done :)
An excellent site with good transport links into the town. The toilet blocks were probably the best we have encountered on a campsite anywhere.
The pitches were large with electricity, water and waste connections on the pitch. Although in the town the site was peaceful and quite.
one of the best campsites we have visited this trip. everything was 5 star . nice quiet site. facilities were excelent transport tickets can be bought in reception 9 50 for 4 people for 24 hours valid on trams buses and even the navi bus boat .i would recomend this site to everyone
When approaching the site use the instructions in the guide as they avoid central Nantes and the entrance is literally on the roundabout. This site is one of the best we have ever stayed at. The pitches are of a good size with 16amp elec, water and waste. The toilet and laundry facilites are outstanding. The grounds are beautiful, many of the trees labeled. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. There is a tram stop outside the site and a local Spar and boulangerie. Nantes itself is a fantastic City with so much to see and do. Disabled facilities on the site are brilliant and Nantes is so well set up for wheelchair users it's incredible. The Castle of the Dukes of Brittany museum and ramparts are all accessible and so worth visiting. The Great Elephant, Carousel and the Galerie des Machines are undescribable. We will be going back there is so much to see. For motorhomers it is difficult to beat this site due to the transport facilities and the site facilities.
Lovely campsite with a 15 minute tram ride in to the city. Really friendly and helpful staff. Well landscaped and spotlessly clean modern facilities. some great bars just a short walk away.
This is a fabulous campsite, and I will definitely go back. The staff were extremely friendly, and although it is a busy campsite, there was a very homely feel to the place. It is very convenient to Nantes, being so near the tram. Beautiful surroundings. The toilet block are very modern, but they could do with another one. Overall, one of the best sites we have visited!
Stayed here for 4 nights in total, 2 going south and 2 going north. Toilets and showers very good. Pitches of a decent size but can be a little dark owing to the trees. Restaurant for eat in or take away good quality. Tram stops outside site BUT does now allow dogs on board so we had to walk in about an hour's walk each way mainly flat. Small supermarket 2 or 3 minutes from site from essential supplies. Highly recommended for a trip to Nantes. Can be a little noisey but you are in the city after all.
We arrived early as we wanted to make the most of our day in Nantes and were dealt with efficiently despite us having no booking and it being a National Holiday. Heating in the sanitation block was lovely, very luxurious. We were given good information about cycling into the city to see what we wanted.
Lovely wooded setting with easy access to Nantes' many attractions by tram or cycle.
Mini-supermarket nearby. Very helpful staff in reception.
We stayed 1 week in early July and were very happy.
Good for visiting Nantes town by public transport, tram stops nearly outside site and you can get to all parts of town from here. Facilities excellent & kept clean, motorvans on hard standings, well laid out grounds with plenty of trees & bushes. No shop on site in september but there is a bakers and small spar shop short walk away just past tram. Staff excellent speak good English and ready to give tourist information.
Must stress to use ring road, entrance may have moved as Bld Petit Port not on SatNav and drive thru centre of Nantes was interesting!!
