We will definitely use this site again facilities very good and clean, short walk in to the town were there is lots of things to do plenty of places to eat and drink and a good prom to walk on or sit and watch the world go by roll on next year about half an hour or so from Calais.

Michael Burke, on this campsite in October 2013

Travelling party: Seniors

Excellent site close to Calais for tunnel / Ferries. Good clean facilities and very close to local town and shopping centre

Travelling party: Single

A great base for visiting the delightful town of Wimereaux.
I spent my last night there en route home via Calais - there's a vet within walking distance of the site,
The pitch was huge with hedges which provided plenty of privacy. Although this site is basic it is perfectly adequate and I would definitely stay here again.

Elizabeth Midgley, on this campsite in May 2017

Travelling party: Couple

Nice big grassed pitches with tap and electric on each. Beware if you are a light sleeper as road one side railway line other.
Showers work well once you realise they are movement sensitive. Toilets have no seat or paper.

Travelling party: Seniors

Basic little campsite and no complaints re facilties. Walking distance 2 minutes into Wimereux. Plenty restaurants etc. Lovely promenade and well worth a visit either going to or coming from Calais.

Stuart Wallace Monaghan, on this campsite in September 2014

Travelling party: Couple

basic site , within easy walk of lovely promenade and beach . Supermarket nearby , dog friendly . English speaking vet in town , useful for pet passport .
Handy site for last night before the Calais ferry .

We were referred here as our chosen site down the road had gates which did not open till 08.00 hrs and we had a ferry at 08.20! It is a basic site but we have stayed on worse and to be fair it was the end of the season. Pitches are relatively flat (bottom field recommended) and the washroom facilities are acceptable. The sign saying they are closed from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am needs checking as they were open during our visit. Quite expensive for what it was but they have an exit policy of \"from 06.00 hrs by arrangement\" so we were able to get out 8.20 am ferry. For that reason only would stay again

Basic, bit too busy, but did the job. We stayed here on our last night before travelling back to the UK. Compared to other French campsites this is very basic, but on the other hand all the others had been quiet rural locations!
We like Wimereux so would come again just to park!

Gareth Phillips, on this campsite in September 2014

Travelling party: Seniors

OK site for last night or so before catching Eurotunnel/Ferry. Pitches could be challenging to get into with a big caravan, but fine for our 21ft Motorhome was ok.
Site is a Municipal and the pitches were smallish, cables had to be driven overf, as the pylon was in one of the pitch spaces. Not many toilets for what appeared to be a large site. Close to beach etc. Not sure if dogs are really allowed on the beach, the signage was a bit confusing.

John Shirtcliffe, on this campsite in May 2017

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed here en-route to Calais, for 2 nights. Payed for 24 hours of internet to be told it only works in a small corner just outside reception - and then skype didn't work. Pitch was large and quite private. Toilets and showers clean. The sensors in the showers are quirky but there is no way of regulating the temperature and was too hot at the end of the shower!. It also activates the shower if you get your towel too close to the sensor whilst drying. The nearby vet was extremely pleasant and accommodating.
