I’m sure this site is good for a one night. When it’s high season. But don’t come here in September. We arrived at 5:00 pm on Sunday 23 September. My wife asked if everything was still available. As we hadn’t got much food left on the van. Yes said the receptionist bar pizzeria restaurant all open. So we got ready and went to the restaurant Closed. Went back to reception close. Cooked an omelette in the van. Went to pot washing no water or lights. So disappointed and it’s a nice campsite.

Arrived during lengthy lunch break but there was a note asking you to find your own plot and tell Reception when it opened at 3.30. Paid for WiFi but it was very good. Area for short stay was outside the security barrier but there was good hard standing and well defined pitches. Some road noise but didn’t disturb our sleep. Country lane to walk dogs next to site as well as a field over the road. Used vets in Marquise - good English spoken. The vets is next door to a Carrefour with cheap fuel. Showers and toilets were fine (take your own loo roll) and the restaurant was good - they also do takeaway pizza, etc. 20 - 30 minutes to Eurotunnel or car ferries. Will definitely use again.

This site is immaculate, well done to all. Great stopover or for a week + Has fishing, tennis, crazy golf, table tennis and a great restaurant/ bar with superb atmosphere. Wifi is payable, only a few minutes from the motorway which takes you into Calais in about 35 minutes. Good size pitches.

The location for campervans and caravans is at the front of the campsite very near the road. You can hear the motorway and road noise all day. Toilets are ok, but could do with improvement. The showers aren’t very good but by French standards they are better than some. The washing up sinks are cold water only and the WiFi as with most French campsites you have to pay for, and it is a rip off. They should learn from other European campsites where the WiFi is “FREE”. There is a restaurant but the food is ok, nothing special and if you are desperate then go for it. It’s ok as a one night stop over but there are quieter campsites for a one night stop over should you want one. Try Chateau Gtandspet. The pitches are adequate in size, but no very private from the prying wandering eyes of the French who feel the need to stare into every van.

Turned up at this campsite late and found reception closed. But next to reception there was an area which you could hook to electric on a pitch and water. Campsite was very very clean, toilet facilities were clean and modern, chemical waste not too far away. Excellent stopover, will return.

We stayed on this site for one night while heading north. It is easy to access from the Autoroute, the pitches are well marked out, large and site is well maintained. We had lovely dinner on-site which was great value for money. The bar has a wide variety of beers on offer and reasonably priced. We will use this site on future travels.

We've tried a number of the sites around Calais now and not found any of them particularly good. In this one the toilet facilities are a little dated and not the most spotless ones. However the site is very close to the autoroute and the welcome was friendly. We didn't eat there but the menu looks fine and we spoke to others who said it was good. The pitches near the entrance (new we understand) include a few with fairly good hard standing - that is worthwhile to me. We'll use this site again.

Second year we've stopped overnight on our way back to Calais and they've improved the overnight site completely so you have a marked pitch now rather than parking in a field. The facilities are reasonable and the bar and restaurant is good. The site is majority permanent and holiday homes but very well kept. The lake is for fishing only so not much walking for the dog......haven't noticed any mosquitos....yet!
