Travelling party: Seniors

We arrived at this site at about 11:15am only to find the reception closed and a sign saying it was closed from 11am until 3pm. Four hours! We contemplated pitching anyway and going back to reception later.
A lady came to speak to us (not a member of staff) and, despite language problems, we understood her to say that the electric supply to the pitches couldn\'t be turned on until reception opened. We had a walk round the site anyway. The toilets were very dated, no toilet seats or paper. The pitches were poorly marked out, with no hedges. The general condition of the site could only be described as neglected and run down. We decided that we wouldn\'t want to stay there, even if the staff had taken the trouble to turn up more often.

Visited again in June had an enjoyable stay. We had a problem with our car and the young man on reception recommended a local garage to us. Staff very friendly .
I am very happy to say the ladies showers have had a much needed make over which is great

Really poor site. Helpful staff overseeing a very neglected facility. Shower and toilets should be condemned, absolutley filthy and disgusting, cubicles falling apart. Service point is an appaling health hazard and as far from the camping car pitches as possible. Nice rustic pitch decent size. Could be SO much better. Can NEVER have been inspected by ACSI - well below even minimal standards. Avoid.

Great camp site to visit French town Etaples and lovely beaches very near for dog walking. Sopermarket within walking distance .LeTouqet is only minutes by car what\'s not to like .The toilet and shower facilities are very old and tired but clean come on council spend some money. The staff are very friendly and helpful we have been staying here for a good few years now itsgreat for a stop over or for a few days.

The worst French Campsite I have ever stayed at in 15 years of caravanning in France.Toilet facilities are abysmal with a chemical waste disposal point, apart from being 400 yards from the main camping area should be condemned!
In an effort to say something positive, the pitches are a good size and the site is next door to the WW1 Military Cemetery, very emotional but worth a visit. In truth avoid this site like the plague. I just wonder when ACSI last made an inspection?

Ladies showers were being renovated, so shared facilities. Toilets basic no paper or seats etc. Pitches a reasonable size.

We stayed 1 night in our Motorhome in May. Reception friendly & helpful. Site quiet but rather soulless, sandwiched between main road & railway. Toilet facilities poor. Only one half of 2 blocks open. Less than clean, no paper in WCs, showers lukewarm. Advertised restaurant next door closed. Too far to walk along busy road to Etaples
