Swimming pools, bar/restaurant, bread morning delivery van 8.45am . Close to a small village. Lovely large quiet site with duck pond and plenty of pitch space on grass for trailer stay hooked up, EHU and free wifi. 2 hours from Calais (none toll road). Sauna, games room. Quaint site, clean... Nice stop before or after crossing the channel...
Lovely little campsite where we chose our own pitch - get there early as it started to fill up during the evening. Great views, situated in rural countryside. Had a very peaceful one night stay.
Late May. Just one afternoon and night, when the weather was warm. Quiet and very green and friendly. Definitely would use again. Accepted the smartphone copy of my ACSI card that they\'d kindly sent me when I reported I\'d left proper one on kitchen table !!!
****** low stars ONLY for things that are closed at this time of year.
We stayed here as our first stop from Calais down to South of France. out of season so swimming pool and restaurant etc all closed. Toilets and showers basic but clean. Friendly staff and quiet village location. Bakery van called in at 845am.
We stayed here for 2 nights on our way through France. We did not have a reservation but there was plenty of room. The pitches are all of a good size and we had a choice. The pool is a good size but does get busy. The toilet block is clean and the showers were hot. The restaurant on site was very good value with all the main dishes having access to a carvery style buffet for vegetables etc so you can go back as often as you like. They also do takeaway pizzas that were good. Would recommend as a stopover or somewhere to base from if doing WW1 sites.
What a cracking site. We came for 6 nights but the majority of people seem to stay only 1 night and during the day we were mostly the only people in our road. Good access for a 14 metre twin axle outfit. Very friendly and helpful staff. Swimming pool was open and a good size. Popular at weekends. Great site for WW1 history and good free guidebooks are in reception. Showers push button with no temperature control but it wasnt too hot or cold. Bread van on site every morning at around 8.30 with lots of choices. Very popular with Netherlanders and most folks turn up after lunch and have left by 10.30 the next day. Some of the pitches are not marked out which allows the occupiers to park rather selfishly in some areas taking up a lot of room and leaving their outfits attached but there were a lot of places in May. Will definitely use again when back this way.
Very handy site when heading away from or to Calais. No hardstandings, but grass pretty firm when we were there in April despite rain overnight. Toilet and shower facilities ok but nothing special. Good views over open countryside. Pleasant staff.
Visited this site quite a few times over the last ten years. Facilities have improved on each occasion. Nice area , town with some interesting features.
At 1 hour 30 minutes (using the motorway) from Calais this site makes a very convenient night halt.
There are no amenities in the local village and during our visit at the end of May the site swimming pool, bar and restaurant were all closed.
Stopped overnight and was pleasantly surprised. Good location and the site had a nice feel to it. The manager was very helpful and had a good sense of humour. Pitches were nice but the toilet facilities need some money spent on them.
