hmmmm nice showers, however only 6 unisex were open for entire site, took my place in line in the morning, toilets fine and bonus toilet seats and paper!! the restaurant closed Saturday night so couldn\'t try and no bread as have to pre order, the site is overgrown and scruffy, nice size pitches though, swimming pool small and closed at 6pm so never got to try, staff freindly but very little English, not a problem smiles and hand signals worked fine. the main issue we had we\'re several men who I feel live on site, playing noisy music and talking very loudly, didn\'t sound like French either!!! however stopped by about 9pm. Not a lot to do, ok for a night but that\'s about it.
Site well organised despite the frequent rain recently leading to flooded pitches. Sanitary facilities excellent. However no bread available onsite despite the Campingcard guide stating it would be. Reception said service only available in high season. Nearest bread shop 2km along a main road which is busy first thing in the morning, Difficult for cyclists and walkers. The information needs to be corrected in the guide.
This site is in process of being totally refurbished and so far the developments are new toilets showers etc A pool is in course of completing surrounds
It is well lit and water fountains are in plenty
The site is in a mature wooded park which gives shade but not too much and has security barriers operated by a special electronic key unique to each visitor
We await our next visit to see final progress
The Management and staff are very busy in all aspects of development and service but not too busy to assist campers in all needs and advice
The campsite was completely waterlogged, the toilet facilities appeared to be very basic.
Facilities out of season appeared to be minimal or non existent, at least that was our experience.
Our motorhome became bogged down in our allotted pitch and we only managed to extricate
it with the help of 2 strong men pushing. It was a pure chance they were passing as the hour was late.
We spent the night on solid ground directly behind the reception.
We did not ask and were not offered any refund, even for electricity.
Might be OK in summer.
Great site for stopover as just off Jct 19.1 of A20. Also great for exploring Toulouse as about 8km north on the D road outside campsite, which you can catch bus to or drive, there is a park & ride at the first station of the metro line right into centre of Toulouse. Canal De midi is just behind campsite about 500m away and great for cycling along. Reception not always open during displayed times out of season but there is an intercom box to right of door that connects to owner\'s phone & she is with you in minutes, she was cheery, helpful & efficient, gave us our emplacement number based on how long you\'re staying as they seem to have overnight spots for campervan or caravan. Swimming pool was fine for a quick dip after a long hot day out. The showers were some of the best we\'ve encountered and like the toilets were spotless, for those whiney spoiled Brits there\'s even toilet paper and seats. I\'ll be using this site again when travelling too or from the south of France or Spain.
The site first of all is located just off a very busy road leading into Toulouse and at peak times the traffic noise is quite noticeable. We arrived 30th September not intending to use all the facilities, so our review is based only on what facilities we did use and our observations. We were pleasantly welcomed at reception and allocated a pitch. I would prefer to be given the option to choose a pitch but that was not the case here. That said the allocated pitch was fine. The amenities block was conveniently located for our pitch and what we used there were also fine. The roads throughout the site are made up from a hard-core type of material that unfortunately throws up clouds of dust when the 10kph speed limit is exceeded. It was our intention to stop for three nights, but left after just one night with both my car and caravan covered in dust.
Easy in, easy out! Ideal stopover! Good clean facilities - can\'t fault it. Reception was closed from 12:30 - 4:00 when we were there, but we always phone in advance to check this. Fantastic bread. Recommended.
there are good and bad things to say about this site. Location excellent for cycling along the Canal du Midi but under the flight path to Toulouse airport and to get to Toulouse, you had to take 2 buses and a metro. Staff were friendly but a bit clueless at times. The shower block was very nice but half of it was closed off leaving 6 communal showers and 3 washing up sinks for quite a full site. Seemed to be doing some building work but not very productively. Be nice when it\'s finished as they say
Helpful pleasant reception. Site is under renovation and everything has been well thought out. Showers are really nice and warm ( February 2019 ). Owner has listened to previous comments about access to pitches and has made more hard standings. Would definitely come again and certainly recommend.
