Ummm... returned to this site after our visit Sept 16. please see my review where i was most complementary about the site, how things change.. the site is overgrown with trees so every pitch is in shade all day, there was a lack of care around the place, patios not swept, plant containers with dead plants in them, i spoke to the manager who told me she was leaving and the place had been sold, says it all really... what a shame

Great little site - fantastic welcome from Karen. V green shaded individual pitches. Facilities spotless, if a little dated. The area is beautiful & worth a visit. We'd definitely use again.

This site is just perfect. Lovely lady to greet you on arrival, small, no static vans just a handful of pretty chalets, large flat pitches with dappled shade, lots of ehu points and taps around the pitches. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean with powerful hot showers. Toilet paper and seats. The swimming pool area looked very nice and was still open in September as was the bar/restaurant on site although we did not use it during our two night stay. The site is right in the beautiful village of Soreze which is well worth a day walking around. Wonderful medieval houses overhanging narrow streets, a pretty central square and an interesting museum consisting of the old abbey/military school and tapestry museum(surprisingly interesting). Bakers near the site and good size super u supermarket also in walking distance. Super u also has decent priced fuel. Lots of places to see in the area so we definitely plan to return.

A very nice campsite within an hours drive of both Albi and Carcassonne. Toilets and showers are basic but well cleaned. The swimming pool was nice and the pitches had lots of shade. The owner was really nice too, wifi is free and very good.

Yes this is a very nice campsite. The toilets are very clean, the water is hot and you have good wifi on your site. Reception is closed from 12- 4 so you may need to phone for the access code for the barrier. There is a swimming pool in high season.

What a wonderful site, please do not be put off by the approach. i did wonder what i was letting myself in for, however once through the gates and it is really a nice little site, it has a new owner this year who is working hard to put her own stamp on to the place... nice little village of soreze, super U within walking distance. and free wifi all over the site... a winner

Relaxed laid back site on edge of town. Very friendly helpful owner. Free wifi. Bakery short walk as is the town and abbaye museum which are both worth a visit. Reasonably priced limited menu food in evening. Pitches large and water nearby. Would visit again.

The welcome to the site was outstanding and continued throughout our weeks stay. The site is very well maintained by the young team and they go out of their way to be as helpful as possible. The site is well positioned for visits to the local village, that has an excellent museum and some very interesting restaurants. There are two supermarkets within walking distance. The walk to the observation table should be undertaken with care, if it has been raining recently, as the climb can be very slippery.
The facilities are of a high standard and very well maintained.
We had only intended to stay for a couple of nights but were reluctant to leave after a week.

We were a little worried when arriving at the site as 1st impressions aren't the best! However we were not dissapointed once we had our pitch!
Decent size pitch with water close by - lots of plants and shrubs around the pitch to keep your privacy.
Most people where there for a couple of days so there was not too much coming and going which made it even more peaceful.
Toilets and showers quite new and regularly cleaned. Snack bar by the pool although we didnt use it.
Washer on site for only a small amount!
Town (Soreze) is very pretty to walk around with mini super to pick up fresh groceries. Lovely views from a walk up behind town to the orientation table at the top (worth the mile and half hike)
Would stay again!
