A really peaceful friendly site close to the charming village of Montricoux. The pool is great with lots of sun beds, the toilets are spotless and the hosts are really welcoming. Pitches are larger than most I\'ve stayed on in France and are regularly visited by the resident poultry and the occasional friendly goat. The site is within walking distance of the town which has some impressive architecture, a non-touristy market and a really great butchers. The gorge of Aveyron is very impressive for sightseeing, walking, cycling, kayaking and swimming.
Friendly helpful owners on this site, we used it as a stopover site. Plenty of shady pitches although the tree branches on some pitches could do with a trim. A few pitches have hard standing which is an advantage as the soil looked like it gets boggy in wet weather. Some pitches are quite tight for manoeuvring a largish motorhome. Nice village 15 mins walk away. Would definitely visit again. No food in June.
Well what a pretty site, walking distance to the nearby village of Montricoux, market day is Friday and it goes all round the village. Chloe and her husband work hard and have plans for further development of the site but that work will only be done in the winter. The toilet block is clean withe plenty of hot water and enough showers, toilets etc.we never had to wait. The bar is covered and inviting with a large television. Nothing is to much trouble for Chloe whose English was fortunately better than my French, she explained about the wifi, brought baguettes to the caravan even got up extra early to collect bread from a different baker as her normal guy was \"having a few days off\" her words she was there to make sure her guests enjoyed their stay. The pool area was great with covered shade if you didn\'t want to sit in full sun and plenty of activities for younger children including a paddling pool. If you only go for a couple of days you will be back some other time for longer I know we will .
An excellent clean and well maintaibed site, within easy walking dustance of Montricoux. Suggest you call at a supernarket on the way in as the shop in Montricoux was only open two days a week. however you can order bread and the best croissants we have had so far- all deliverd to your door.Chloe and Nicolas are very friendly and helpful and obviously keen to maintain good standards. good site to relax. We stayed 11th to 13th june 2019 in term time so not many children on site but you could see the excellent facilities that are availabke for young children. up to young teens.
Fabulous warm welcome to a site which is nearing completion of significant investment and upgrades. Bread to your pitch in the morning and helpful tips which really made our stay, we would have missed St Cirq Lapopie, a srunner, and our evening salad would have been all the less but for our leisurely stroll around the adjacent village. Can\'t comment on the bar and restaurant as we visited out of season but it looks promising. If we\'re in the area again we\'d definitely return.
Lovely little site just outside an attractive village. The owners, Chloe & Nicolas, go out of their way to be helpful. Pool not open when we went, so can’t comment. Thoroughly recommend nearby restaurant, Les Delices de Papille, by the roundabout on the way into the village.
We stayed for three nights in this lovely site. They are a really hard-working young couple making a great site even better. We turned up early season before the pool, bar and new toilet block were open, but Chloe couldn\'t have been more helpful finding walks, bike rides and a load of info about our forward journey. Will definitely go back.
Lovely campsite run by a very helpful couple. Close to the village and has shaded pitches. Toilet and shower blocks are very new and clean.
Nice site with mature trees. Toilet facilities good. Owners really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Nice bar. Close to the medieval town of Montricoux. Would certainly stay there again.
Nice pool, nice people, good sanitation blocks, handy for small medieval village, plots a good size and flat. Can't fault it at all we will be back here I hope.
