Visited early October. Challenging access to site through a narrow tunnel and over a narrow bridge - not for novices! Beautiful area and well located site. Staff charming and helpful. Site only half open. Used mainly as a stopover site. Excellent cycling along Canal du Midi towpath etc. Plenty of local shops. The facilities were basic and passably clean. However, and a big however - they seem to have a big problem with ‘shield bugs’. Very unpleasant. Within a couple of hours our caravan and tow car had many revolting visitors ! Fortunately they don’t bite but are persistent. They can get in every nook and cranny and hide expertly even get around fly screens and roof hatches. On discussion with others this is clearly a known problem maybe linked to the season. The site has an amazing location but the work required to enjoy it was not worth it for us - keep your windows and doors tightly closed.

Lovely campsite, spacious attractive pitches, excellent toilet facilities. Lots of super cycle trips within easy each and the nearest town, Moissac is lovely. Very helpful and friendly couple running the site. We stayed for extra days and will be back.

What a gem this campsite is. We were lucky enough to get a riverside pitch with lovely views. We stayed two nights in June in quite hot weather. Pool lovely on hot afternoons. The town and the canal a short cycle ride. Cathedral and Abbey worth a visit. The staff on the site are really helpful and a takeaway van sets up each night. Showers and toilets clean and well above average. The setting is so lovely. A must if you are in the area

Pleasant site, good value. Easy access for all sizes, although limited pitches for big boys! Clean mixed toilets - no seats or paper. Good showers / pot washing with plenty of hot water. Note reception closed 12 - 3 during which access not possible for new arrivals.

Beautiful pitch abutting the Tarn. Ideal location for cycling up or down the canal de deux mers. Along with the Abbey, this makes A great reason to stay a few days. Very friendly staff, the baguettes are to die for and the pizza van offers a great selection of local variations. In short a great site.

A long established campsite with rather tired, but spotless shower and toilet facilities. The pitches are all in urgent need of relevelling as it is impossible to get a campervan set up properly. The tarmac drive is deteriorating with far too many potholes filled with mud. They have spent a lot of money on a WiFi set up to cover the whole campsite, but they charge ridiculous rates to use it. There is free WiFi at the reception area, but it is only available during the daytime, when most guests are off site. In this day and age WiFi should be include and 24 hours. On the plus side, we were thrilled to see a coypu in the river by the campsite. The town of Moissac was extremely interesting and the canal is a joy to ride along. There is also an Aire in the town which is cheaper and nice level pitches, but of course no shower and toilet facilities, but fine for campervan and motorhomes.

We had no problem getting through the tunnel with a 7.4 metre motorhome, you do have to watch the height though with ariels and solar panels etc. Pitches all grass and a bit muddy when we were there, good facilities, no loo seats though, all clean and lots of hot water. Great cycling on the canal. Town okay, a bit limited on the restaurant front and most seem to close very early including the bars. Free WiFi on the campsite not at all good and told by the owner not to use the paid wifi as it’s very expensive.

A well positioned site, with lovely pitches right on the river bank, get one of these if possible. Reasonable facilities, with a good pool. Bread delivered right to centre of the camp in the mornings (no need to order in advance), and some kind of fast food van comes in each evening. Pizzas, chicken, etc. Actually a very good service. Cycle or walk in Moissac, lovely town. Or cycle further afield up or down the canal. All very nice.

As others have reported, this is a lovely peaceful campsite just a 15 minute walk from the historic town of Moissac and only a few km from the motorway. The entrance is interesting as you have to drive through the old mill building to get to the main site by the river, although if your unit is over about 2.9m you can use a hard standing area outside the mill - we saw several vans using it. As reported by others the owner likes a long lunch hour and may not turn up before 3.30pm to book you in - but it's worth the wait never-the-less!!
