Very nice small, quiet campsite. The final road going to the campsite is narrow but very little traffic and plenty of passing places. We were made welcome and found our own pitch. Some shade some sun. Toilet block clean. Each pitch has its own picnic table. Pitches good size with no hedges which gives a nice open feeling. We are heading South but as it’s so peaceful here we decided to stay two nights. Can recommend this site if you are looking for tranquility

Easy to access from A20, reception was helpful and friendly, owner\'s always had smile on face and looked like they were enjoying their work and the clients weren\'t a chore. Best showers and toilet block we\'ve encountered so far in many years of caravanning, they are a bit far from furthest pitches where we were, but it was our choise & we used our bike\'s, as they let us pick our pitch after they\'d given us a briefing on where everything was located. The site was so peaceful we stayed 4 nights instead of the 2 planned and would have stayed longer if not for needing to get home for visitors. We\'ll be heading back here without a doubt as it\'s only 10km from Can. Note for all the Brits always complaining about lack of toilet seats and paper, this site has them both, with the additional luxury of a small sink with soap just outside toilets.

Quiet rustic site. Convenient stopover. Dated toilet block. Didn\'t feel welcome at all. Plenty of room to big boys. Might use again, but doubt it!

A gem of a site, we only stayed one night on our way to Brantome but could easily spend a few nights here. We didn’t have time to try out the pool but it looked inviting, plenty of walks from the site, walks map available at reception. We had a meal in the campsite restaurant which was very good and reasonably priced. Staff very nice and helpful. Would definitely return.

This is a simply delightful campsite. The lady on reception was exceedingly helpful when, on our arrival, we discovered the last site had retained our ACSI card in error. She rang them immediately, confirmed our story and got them to post the card to her that day all without prompting even! really excellent customer service, she even delivered it to our pitch when it arrived.
The site itself is about 10 minutes drive out of Cahors (more on that in a minute) Dont panic when you turn off the main road, the access road looks narrow but it’s fine. The pitches are large on well kept grass with a variety of shade available. It was scorchingly hot during our stay, 30+ most days (right at the end of June) so we were very grateful for the shade, it was still 21* at 04:30! Some of the pitches do have a slight slope to them so if in a MH you may well need some ramps (not an issue with a caravan though)
Toilet block IS a little “dated” in style but spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water. Toilet seats AND paper (if that’s important to you) Snack bar/restaurant/bar open all day, very good menu at reasonable prices. Limited menu so it’s all cooked fresh not microwaved. Drinks prices reasonable as well. The site itself is very peaceful and relaxing, it just “feels right” if that makes sense, and makes a great base for the surrounding area. Decent sized circular! Swimming pool. Yes it’s painted not tiled, but does that really matter? It’s spotlessly clean with plenty of sun loungers (and some shade) It had only just been filled on our arrival so was still warming up, but a lovely area.
Don’t just dismiss this as a “transit” site it deserves better ESPECIALLY if you like somewhere peaceful in the country. The staff speak excellent English are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. I have no hesitation is saying this is a lovely site to stay on.
Back to Cahors now.....
DONT try and take your car into the town!! Parking is a total (expensive and short term only) nightmare BUT there are a number of totally FREE park and ride parks on the outskirts (Well done Cahors council) The one at the very south end has plenty of parking for motorhomes as well as cars. It’s about a 15 minute walk into the old town from that P&R so you don’t need to wait for the bus if you don’t want to. The (very!) “Old” part of the town is a delight to (literally) get lost in! Lots of VERY narrow streets lined with fabulously old buildings, plenty of places to eat or get a drink. The combined boat/petit train ticket is good value, tickets for both just outside the Railway station near “The” bridge Cahors is famous for.
P.S. They serve the local “Malbec” Rose wine in the campsite bar, nicely chilled it’s delicious and cheap!

Stayed one night heading South to Spain. Easy access from the A20. Large pitches so able to stay hooked up for quick start following morning however those nearest the reception and toilet block are sloping. A nice touch was picknic tables for each pitch. Toilets and showers very good and clean. The resturant was not open when we visited in May so can\'t comment.

A lovely rural clean site with good clean facilities. A few minutes from the motorway, so a good stopover site.
