We planned to stay longer but due to the weather forecast we moved on. The camp is a great starting point for trips around the area.

The camp itself is very good, a bit sometimes only disturbed by noise from the road. Everything we personally need this camp offers and let me add that the staff is very friendly.

Travelling party: Couple

Drawn by ACSI and husbands desire to do the Tourmalet climb, chose over the other local site and initially only planned to stay 2 nights. River is loud (mountain water gushing by) but quickly got used to it and it covers any road noise in the day, quiet st night. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Stayed a week and found lots to explore in Bigorre & Campan. Great local shop in Gerde. Place grew on us and ended up staying a week

Travelling party: Couple

Nice site and priced just right, it seemed to be more a camping car and tents site, the plots next to very pretty river were forbidden to caravans due to local flood regulations I think but the other plots were adequate if a little bit on the sloping side. Facilities were modern and clean, family owned site with pleasant and friendly couple running reception & site. Close to very pleasant town and an easy cycle there and Back, will use again as it\'s really well placed for exploring the Pyrenees and doing the cols.
