Excellent site for all but especially for young families. Slight issue with toilet facilities where a WC would be next to a shower cubicle & water would trickle through. When booking direct with the campsite be aware not to pay in full because you cannot claim the ACSI discount on arrival. Very dusty roads with vehicles creating an unacceptable amount of dust at times.
Not too far from cherbourg . Staff are very friendly. The lady in reception gave us a map showing vacant pitches we walked around most of them were on a slope so we picked a flat pitch that was vacant but wasn’t on the marked on the map there was an extra charge as it had drainage an water. Being may it wasn’t busy. The pool wasn’t all that warm even though it stated it was heated. Pool for both adults & kids which is supervised It’s a large site pitches were a good size. Toilet block an showers are good we didn\'t use the shop or the restaurant .Local amenities are a short drive away
we stayed here for 3 nights it was lovely .farmers markets nearby nearly every day lovely produce really fresh. very close to mont saint michel and avranches. staff were lovely and helpful well spoken english . nice little bar on site. beautiful site in the grounds of a chateaux
Beautiful site in the grounds of a chateau. Visited again this year in a Motorhome, our 3rd year staying here an route South. Staff really lovely and v helpful, also speak English. We love the ambience , listening and watching the birds. Good sized grass pitches with hedges v well maintained. Tap at pitch, small shop, bar and takeaway on site. . Quiet, pretty and friendly with lots of trees and hedged. 2 pools although didn\'t use them. Loved the goats and lama! Will definitely return as one of our favourite top quality sites.
Beautiful campsite, stayed one night as a stopover, staff were very friendly and helpful, pitch was sloping and needed levelling blocks, water & electric hookup on pitch, will definitely use this site again.
Very friendly, family orientated site with excellent playground for 2-10yrs. Immaculate surrounds with bike hire, table tennis, volleyball and football pitches. We stayed in April so didn't have opportunity to sample entertainment & full food menu. Pool for both adults & kids which is supervised. Specially pool area for toddlers. Local amenities are a short drive away including a zoo, 20 mins away. Would come again.
Very nice campsite brilliant child friendly facilities, including baby bath, child showers and toilets. As we were on an acsi pitch it was one of the smallest and sloping. Easiest Motorhome water and waste point is at reception we didn't find this out until at our pitch. Lots of attractions driving distance from site. Large supermarket five minutes drive away. Site is easy assessable in a large Motorhome. Indoor swimming pool, child play Park and bouncy castles were well used and enjoyed by our 3 year old. Would definitely recommend and return.
A typical Castles site large pitches some with hedges and most with water and drainage for which we were charged 5 euros a night extra. Wifi very poor supposedly free in the bar area but not able to get a signal and very expensive to buy (particularly when most of the cheaper site have free wifi). Toilets clean and plentiful supply of hot water.
This is a lovely campsite set in beautiful grounds, it's real value for money on the acsi cc scheme. It has an indoor and outdoor pool, indoor was open in early season and very nice, plenty to keep kids entertained too. It is a sloping site and motorhomes will need chocks. Good sanitary facilities. Slight road noise from busy road at the front but a cycle route to the beach from the back was lovely.
