I have been using this site for 15 years, going back to when it was privately owned. It is in a superb position ,being only 300m from a supermarket and the town centre.Although it is still a good site,it has deteriorated gradually. The pitches and surrounding hedges are not kept well trimmed, they now charge a booking fee and the WiFi seems to work in an erratic fashion.Prices in the bar have risen steeply and they shut at 8pm.I think that it is now not really giving value for money as it used to.

Have stayed here each year since 2011. Great stopover for Cherbourg. Close to town of Pontorson. Supermarket 300 yards. Some pitches have water, evacuation for grey AND black waste !!! Costs a little extra but well worth it.

This a lovely site. Perfect for visiting Mont St Michel & St Malo. There is a great cycle path along the river from the site, you can easily walk into Pontorson or cycle 9k to Mont St Michel. There’s a Carrefour supermarket a short walk away. The swimming pool looked lovely and there are lots of activities for children - including small fields of goats and other animals. Our only moan was that the facilities could have been better. Although spotlessly clean, there are no loo seats n the loos, the loos and shower blocks are unisex. The disabled facilities are very small with no seat to sit on to get dry. Showers are push button and not very hot.

Stayed there twice last october with our small camper van. Friendly staff, nice accomodations, close to the village center. Would stay there again for sure.

Travelling party: Seniors

This was our fourth visit to Campsite Haliotis. We cycled to Le Mont St Michel along the river, and walked to Pontorson town which has good restaurants. There is a supermarket in easy walking distance from the campsite. Our pitches were separated from neighbours by shoulder height hedges; it was very peaceful and quiet in May and September when we stayed there. Cherbourg (ferryport) is an easy an relatively short drive away. Thoroughly recommended.

Great little site with plenty to do in the surrounding area. Lovely town within walking distance. You can cycle to St Mont Michel ( only 9kms) from the site along easy ( no vehicles path).

An ok site, not the best. Not very helpful and the pitches we’re poorly maintained, the grass was very long on the pitch we were given. We left after one night.

Easy access, good pitches, friendly staff. Supermarket close by. Ideal for mont St Michel. Stayed a couple of nights then got bored.
