Travelling party: Seniors

Excellent, clean, well run campsite.
Owner (English) very friendly and helpful.
Good area for exploring up the Normandy coast, also Mont St Michel and St Malo.
Good restaurants within 5 Kms.

Travelling party: Seniors

very pleasant site not far from Mont St Michel and the town of Avronche.
Plenty of space but many pitches sloping. will definitely stay here again.

Travelling party: Couple

Sadly not able to stay as too big and heavy even though we are less than 10m long and under 8000kg. Even after phoning ahead to confirm they would accept us!

We stayed here for 2 nights on our journey from Cherbourg to Finistere. The site is very conveniently located about a 90 mins drive from the ferry. It's a clean, well maintained site, a little sloping on some pitches. The pitches are generous and the water points and sanitary block are very conveniently located. The surrounding village is a short walk away and has shops. Whilst we were here we visited Fougeres which is well worth a visit and about 25 miles away. The English owner of the site is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a pleasant peaceful site close to places of interest.

Great little campsite and very friendly host. Toilets were immaculate and showers nice and hot. Site kept very tidy and felt very well run. Ate at local hotel within very easy walking distance. Great meal and very good value. We know the local area and there is bags to do for people of all ages.

Travelling party: Couple

Ok for a one night stop, facilities shared and basic but water hot. Small shop down the road for bread etc.

Travelling party: Seniors

We used this site as a stopover on both our outward and return journeys due to it's close proximity to Caen/Ouistreham ferry port.
It is a basic, relaxed and pretty site and the toilets are kept impeccably clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Will definitely return.

A good honest campsite, and chatty staff/owner.
Would use again.
We went to look around Mont st michel.
Given very good advice to go in the evening!

Travelling party: Couple

A very convenient campsite for arrival / departure from ferry ports. We stayed here at the start and finish of the holiday. Absolutely lovely couple running the site (English), so helpful. Facilities are perfectly adequate. Limited shopping in the village but a supermarket not far away. Wonderful desserts at the local patisserie!! Great location to explore Avranches, Mont St Michel etc. Le Moulin de Moidrey is well worth a visit. We shall stop here again on our next visit.
