A friendly, peaceful campsite with naturally separated pitches. Right next to the yacht harbour. About a 15-minute walk to the centre. The campsite has a heated swimming pool. The following sights are within a one-hour drive: Mont St. Michel, Cherbourg, Cap de la Hague and the invasion beaches.

Travelling party: Couple
We stayed here in May, very quiet but very comfortable. Helpful owners/staff, nice pitches. Shower block not as good as some but OK.
Nice location with easy access to La Port and the town.
We would visit again..

Travelling party: Couple
The campsite was very busy because of the D-Day events taking place and the owners could not cope as they were trying to do everything themselves with no help. Consequently the showers and toilets especially the small toilet block went uncleaned. Also the boiler broke down twice during our stay so there was no hot water. The campsite is in a lovely spot close to the marina and town.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years
Stayed here with grandchildren. The site is immaculate, peaceful and well laid out. Kids loved the pool and sports facilities. Toilet block clean as was shower block. Good cycle path outside site. Carentan within walking distance. Site central to the many WW2 museums and sites. Will return. Didn’t try the snack bar so can’t comment.

Travelling party: Seniors
Grass pitches OK even after rain. Snack bar open even early season and food and drink fine. Proprietors in second season and excellent, very accommodating. Will come back on the way home.

Travelling party: Couple
This is our second time to this site, very well maintained and lovely hosts. Lovely setting by the marina and race course behind the site, also great walks along side river bank. Toilet facilities are very clean and gender separated. Café / bar on site with evenings entertainment, also can purchase bagettes and pain-au choc. highly recommend this site especially if travelling onto Cherbourg for the ferry, plus many WW2 memorials in the area.

A well appointed campsite for a 2 night stopover on our journey south. Comfortable with good sized pitches, ours overlooking the racecourse. Area good for visiting the Normandy beaches

One of the best camps that we have ever been to. Wonderful staff, great surroundings, charming town... A lot to see in the area. We are definitely going there again.

Very welcoming site with good facilities. The wardens were very accommodating and friendly and the pitch we were given, which backed onto the race course, was large and well screened with trees/bushes. WC/shower/washing up facilities all good. We ate in the snack bar. The choice was fairly limited but the food was well prepared and the service was good. We will return if we are in the area again.
