What a find! this is a very nice, peaceful campsite, convenient for the landing beaches and a short drive to Bayeux.

after a warm and friendly reception, we were invited to choose a pitch. Pitches are large (some are huge, with easy access) and level, with well-kept hedges affording privacy.

The sanitary block, near reception, is excellent (no toilet seats and bring your own toilet paper). Men\'s and women\'s sections are separate and there\'s a good baby bathing room. Showers are clean, powerful and hot.

There is a camper\'s kitchen with microwave and mini oven and you can hire space in the fridge if required. There\'s a large washing machine and dryer (jeton from reception).

Walking distance to a nice village including small supermarket and a very good boulangerie.

For kids, there\'s a playground and bouncy castle.

Snacks are available each evening and are reasonably priced.

As the name suggests, the site is dotted with apple trees, but many offer little shade on most pitches.

There\'s no pool but the price reflects this and even in high season (non-ACSI) it offers great value for money.

We checked out many other campsites in the area and this was our favourite and is highly recommended!
