A peaceful campsite with marked out pitches and a wide variety of planting 4 km from the sea and close to the American landing beaches from WWII. Beautiful grounds with excellent toilet facilities. 12 km from the medieval town of Bayeux. In the low season the reception is closed between 12:30 and 14:00.

Travelling party: Couple

Nice site and we cycled to Omaha beach and American cemetery. The outdoor pool was shut but the indoor one looked nice. Not close to eateries but we had a pizza at the site and it was excellent.

Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed here last year and returned again this year for week in a twin wheeler caravan. It’s a lovely small and quiet site in June. Really good value for money. Family run and really pleasant people.
The toilet facilities are spotless and the pitches are seperated by hedges. There is a small children’s play are and an indoor pool and tennis court. Bread can be ordered at reception the day before for morning. They have a small onsite shop. The site is in a very small village but is in easy travelling distance to the Normandy Beaches. Omaha beach being the nearest about 10- 15 mins drive and 25 mins to Bayeux. Only slight drawback is that there is no where to walk the dog but Omaha beach is perfect for them.

we visited this site earlier this year with a plan to visit the D-Day beaches.while slightly further away from the coast than some other sites, it turned out to be the ideal location. Not only was it away from the business of other locations, the site was great and the owners were brilliant. In fact they made our trip. Indeed after more than 40 years of caravan touring we can comfortably say that we had the most enjoyable stay ever.

Lovely, peaceful and relaxed campsite. Very friendly welcome from the owners. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. Nicely located for WW11 sites and Bayeux. Good Pizza too.

Very nice site with good pitches and hedges on most. Staff are very friendly and pizzas and fresh bread available. Bayeux nearest big town about 12km. Toilets and showers were very clean. I would call again. Thank you to Roseraie Omaha.
