Stayed for 2 nights in early September. Friendly English speaking staff. Campsite was very well presented and had a good selection of pitches - we were able to choose a fairly roomy one with hedges to three sides. Nice shower blocks, although they were token showers and therefore time limited. Very nice looking outdoor swimming complex with slides, although we didn\'t use it, also an indoor pool. The cafe/restaurant served good quality food and beer. Easy cycle ride into Deauville all on cycle paths. Would definitely stay there again if passing that way.
Stayed 2 nights on site excellent site ever thing spotless. Would recommend this site to anyone. Nice cycle ride into Deauville. Pitches nice; hedges between each pitches. Really enjoyed our stay.
This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had at a campsite. On arrival, we were told the bar/restaurant would be closed that evening for a private function. However, we were not told that this consisted of a very loud disco party that continued until after 1.30am and could be heard all over the camp. I found the camp receptionist and complained at 1.45am. Her attitude was outrageous. She said that we were only paying the CCA rate and she didn\'t care, something she repeated several times. However, the music stopped shortly afterwards but there was loud shouting and conversation for some time. I was later told that the party was for departing campsite staff.
2 adults & 3 kids. Great stay. Some nice big pitches, toilets immaculate (just no toilet roll). Water dispenser was a push button which was a bit of a pain, showers were great but no temperature control so were a bit too hot for the kids. Fun pool but outdoor pool could have been a bit warmer. Lovely bike ride into the town & close supermarkets. All round good stay.
Travelled as a couple for the 75th D.Day celebrations.
Secure site with barrier, friendly efficient staff with lots of information and leaflets.
Pitches level, spacious and private. Toilet facilities was modern and kept very clean.
Site has an outdoor water play area but was not open during our stay but we did get to use the indoor pool which, although busy at times was very clean and modern with showers and changing rooms plus an outside area for bathing, child friendly access to the pool.
We did not eat at the bar/restaurant, but it looked lovely and was always busy.
At the back of the site was a large lake, ideal for fishing, walking or dogs.
We stayed 10 days in all, would recommend and would stay again
Only stayed here one night staff were really nice , outdoor pool still under renovation , did not matter to us , Good spacious pitches
ideally situated site for Normandy and WWII attractions , also near Le Harve and Caen.
Site is OK for a 1 night stopover but a bit of hassle with a motor home as the pitches are tight and closely crammed in . They have hedges in between but there\'s a lot of noise especially at night from adjacent pitches , crying babies etc. For caravans with awnings the pitches are a bit of a squeeze with most people parking their cars across the front of their caravan to fit it in the pitch. This makes things tricky manoeuvring motor homes in and out of pitches.
Some pitches have electrics but none had taps or drainage at the pitch. There was a motor home service point right down the far end of the site but you had to pay to fill up your water tank. The tap at the service point was right next to the chemical toilet dump so was probably contaminated and we didn\'t want to risk it. We found another tap but it didn\'t fit our hosepipe very well and kept coming off even when jamming it on manually plus it was a plunger type tap so we gave up. We ended up pitching opposite the toilet block and filling up our water tank via the dish washing taps using a clean watering can . It took 15 trips with the watering can bur my wide was OK doing this so she could get her fitbit step count up! Caravans using an aquaroll at the plunger tap might find things easier.
There\'s a modern indoor /covered \" heated:\" pool which was OK but the water felt cool and it lacked ambience.
The outdoor pool complex looked awesome bur was closed when we stayed for maintenance and the whole pool had been drained. Shame as we were looking forward to trying it out :(.
The toilet/shower block was modern and clean BUT there\'s no toilet paper supplied which in this day and age is unacceptable. Showers were hot, often too hot with no adjustable temperature control and are limited in use by an electronic key fob thingy you drop into a slot to make it work. We didn\'t like this system at all and you were constantly worried about your shower credits running out. I do however understand why they\'ve done this to save on water and heating costs but it wasn\'t fun.
Good location for local sites /WWII attractions . If we hadn\'t got things prebooked we probably would have left after 1 night
Staff lovely and friendly, helpful and speak good English.
Outdoor pool and small kid\'s play area would be good for young families
Small snack bar/pizzas available on site if you don\'t want to cook
Big Carrefour Supermarket approx 4 miles away
Clean showers and toilets regularly cleaned
However I would not recommend this site for anyone looking for a pretty and quiet site or for motorhomes due to tight pitches and water filling issues plus we had to adapt our electrics to the reverse polarity we identified at our pitch. We would not stay again as we have been spolt by much better French campsites with far spacious pitches and more ambience.
Stayed at campsite for 7nights in May, lovely and clean, would recommend, nice clean showers and toilets, would certainly return
Friendly, welcoming site with adequate sized and private pitches. Big heated swimming pool as well as outdoor pool, restaurant, bread and play areas. Good sanitaire facilities, modern, warm, clean with toilet seats but no toilet paper (why - don\'t the owners use toilet paper?). A bit noisy late at night even in September. Not far into the local village by bike or car and a relatively easy cycle into Deauville mostly on cycle paths. Overall good value for money.
Really good site and good facilities. Nice pool for kids. Had a good evening meal and easy site. Clean facilities and staff good. Arrived late and happy to wait for us to arrive. Good places for beaches. Easy stopover but would stay longer
