We stayed here for 4 nights in September and unlike some sites at this time of year, it was busy and there was plenty of life. Probably because they were busy, we didn\\\'t get to choose our pitch, though we were happy with our allocation which was flat and spacious with water and electricity within easy reach as well as rubbish bins that were emptied daily. Recycling was separate, near reception.
The main toilet/shower block which we were closest too is excellent. Very clean (toilet seats and paper) with plenty of hot water and hairdryers in each basin cubicle.
The site is massive, though when we were there it was very quiet at night. During the afternoons there were always lively games of boules taking place which sounded jolly.
Staff in reception were very helpful and friendly as were other staff throughout the campsite.
We didn\\\'t use the restaurant but the take away did excellent frites. There is free wi-fi throughout the site.
We found a route to walk into Honfleur avoiding the main road that took about 40 minutes (see maps in reception).
An excellent site for a few nights
Have stayed here many times and it is generally a good campground. However recent changes i.e the installation of wooden bollards at the corners of pitches to the site roads have made it almost impossible to manoeuvre even a medium sized caravan. Can\'t believe they have done this.
Stayed here for 2 nights on route to Le Havre. Site very good with large level pitches. Site staff very obliging speaking good English. Only cash taken for your site fees, cash machine at adjacent Intermarche supermarket. Restaurant closed on a Wednesday night. Could really fault this site apart from 1 thing and that is the number of speed bumps to and from the accueil that need to be approached with caution. I think there are at least 6 in a space of 100 metres. In summary a good site with a lovely swimming pool and many other sports/fitness facilities. Water and waste water on each pitch and a waste bin shared between 2 or 3 pitches.
Pitches short grass, low hedges and level. Well maintained, a good site.
Love this site. We\'ve stayed here several times and never been disappointed. Most pitches are large and many pitches are fully serviced including waste bins. The showers etc are spotlessly clean and the site itself extremely well maintained. Lovely pool area, fitness room, sauna etc. and a reasonably priced restaurant which also serves takeaways. Staff are always pleasant & helpful. As others have said before, there is a good supermarket within 200mtrs.
Honfleur itself is a vibrant and colourful harbourside town with many good restaurants and lovely shops. We highly recommend a visit to the site and town.
Can\'t comment on child friendliness as not many there. However excellent site though some pitches a little tight to access. Staff were very helpful especially Aurore. Intermarche 2 minutes away as is bus stop to take you into Honfleur for the princely sum of 50 centimes! Overall we loved this site in spite of the inclement weather. Will definitely return in future. One word of warning, do not let your sat nav take you down a nearby country lane! Best to head straight into town and drive directly uphill to the intermarche.
Stayed just one night as in transit, lovely site, nice pitches, friendly staff. Unusual in that no debit or credit cards accepted for pitch fees or bar/ restaurant, didnt appear to be a temporary thing.
Supermarket right next door, saw a couple wheeling their shopping into the site, don’t know if they returned the trolley!
We arrived from Calais direction an sat nav gave us a somewhat interesting route in!
Better to come from the other direction for an easier time.
We stayed for a week in June and found the site to be excellent. Friendly, English speaking staff, great swimming pool and pleasant reasonably priced restaurant. Large super pitch but only 6 amp electric so we paid an extra to upgrade to 10 amps. Only a couple of miles from beautiful Honfleur, easily reached by bus. We will be going back later this year.
we stayed for five days in june 2018 on our way back to the UK via Le Havre. The pitch was fully serviced and with ACSI discount was 19€ per night. one minor issue was some if the sun beds around the pool had towels on them and whilst there no one sat on them. I spoke to staff in reception if i could stay until late afternoon as the ferry wasn\'t sailing until that evening, they said no problem no charge would be required. Would definitely go back again
+ Great site, big pitches, well laid out. OK facilities, location
- Stupid humps at entrance, desk man was the most ignorant we have ever met. Internet 50 IF you could get it, near the reception
Lovely well maintained site with super clean facilities. Great to have both water and electric at each pitch and a waste bin which was emptied daily adjacent to the pitch.
The on site restaurant was excellent and good value for money with good service. There was also a take away service which also appeared popular.
Free Wi-fi was appreciated.
Honfleur was only an easy 10/15 minute cycle ride away on the main road. Returning however meant a stiff cycle up a moderately steep long hill.
The only disappointment was the male receptionist who was very abrupt and surly whenever spoken with. We had to request information about the site constantly rather than being given information about the activities and facilities when we arrived as is the norm with most sites.
