We stayed for a week in June and found the site to be excellent. Friendly, English speaking staff, great swimming pool and pleasant reasonably priced restaurant. Large super pitch but only 6 amp electric so we paid an extra to upgrade to 10 amps. Only a couple of miles from beautiful Honfleur, easily reached by bus. We will be going back later this year.
we stayed for five days in june 2018 on our way back to the UK via Le Havre. The pitch was fully serviced and with ACSI discount was 19€ per night. one minor issue was some if the sun beds around the pool had towels on them and whilst there no one sat on them. I spoke to staff in reception if i could stay until late afternoon as the ferry wasn\'t sailing until that evening, they said no problem no charge would be required. Would definitely go back again
+ Great site, big pitches, well laid out. OK facilities, location
- Stupid humps at entrance, desk man was the most ignorant we have ever met. Internet 50 IF you could get it, near the reception
Lovely well maintained site with super clean facilities. Great to have both water and electric at each pitch and a waste bin which was emptied daily adjacent to the pitch.
The on site restaurant was excellent and good value for money with good service. There was also a take away service which also appeared popular.
Free Wi-fi was appreciated.
Honfleur was only an easy 10/15 minute cycle ride away on the main road. Returning however meant a stiff cycle up a moderately steep long hill.
The only disappointment was the male receptionist who was very abrupt and surly whenever spoken with. We had to request information about the site constantly rather than being given information about the activities and facilities when we arrived as is the norm with most sites.
stayed at this site for 5 nights. whilst their website says they don't accept tents on their own they do, we also noticed a number of others just with tents. pitches are a good size, convenient power and water. the toilets and showers are good quality (seats and paper provided) but bizarrely they all shut from 11.30 to 7 in the morning, not great in a tent !) if you are picking a pinch I would advise somewhere away from the boule pitch near the toilets as it does get quite noisy with very enthusiastic players
We were very disappointed by the reception staff. We arrived late afternoon on 23rd June 2017. As we only wished to stay overnight we offered to pay up front 19euros. We were told no and sent to a very poor pitch behind the site workshops. Pool was closed and restaurant had private party so not available. On leaving the next day we were charged extra for 10amp electric which we neither required or asked for. Quite a way from Honfleur if you have no other transport. Would not stay again.
Probably one of the nicest French campsites we have stayed on. Pitches very generous. Facilities lovely and clean, plenty of hot water, toilet seats and paper! Intermarche supermarket next door. An added bonus was bus stop outside entrance.
Not in a wooded area as site description indicates but really lovely site. Very friendly staff. Bins emptied from pitches everyday which was nice. Swimming pool was very enjoyable and warm. Buses don't accept dogs unless they are small to sit on your lap. If you walk or cycle down into Honfleur, as we did, use the lovely lane which runs parallel to the main road, it's a much more pleasant journey than such a busy main road. Very handy Intermache and Brico next door. No dog exercise area but can find places nearby off site.
Excellent site with large pitches and modern toilet facility with plenty of hot water. Easy reach of lovely towns of Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville. Supermarket within walking distance. Ideal first or last stop if using Le Havre, which is 30 mins away over the impressive Pont du Normandie over the Seine estuary.
Wonderful site, great for getting into Honfleur, good sized pitches. Lovely pools and sanitary blocks excellent some of the best we have stayed at. Intended to stay 3 to 4 nights stayed 7 and was surprised at price as we got one night free. Excellent value. Only one down side bar was quite expensive and no where else within walking distance. As weather was hot drank our own wine as choice at bar not great.
