A beautiful area with endless walking in the forests and also mountain biking. We visited off peak on ACSI. The bar/snack bar were closed and the shop had very limited stock, presumably these facilities have gained the site its 3* status. The other facilities eg toilet/shower block & washing up area are old & dated -similar to a municipal 2* campsite. The pitches nearly all have a slope to some degree. It was a shame that many of the lakeside edge pitches are taken by season/long termers especially as they park lengthways on to the lake maximising obstructing the lake view & access for everyone else particularly as nearly all were unoccupied during our stay.
A large pleasant site overlooking the lake. The pitches were large and most had a lake view. The toilet blocks were quite old but were kept clean. Lovely walks from the site.
Large sloping site with direct access to the lake for swimming. Friendly and helpful reception. Facilities dated but clean and fully working.
A pleasant, economical site, beautifully situated on the shore of the lake. Large, quite level pitches. Toilet facilities not too modern, but very clean with plenty of hot water. Stunning scenery in surrounding area. We would stay here again if in the region.
Fantastic views across the lake from all pitches as site slopes down to the water's edge. A wonderful sight when the jonquils are in flower.
Beautiful surroundings for this site. Clean facilities and great walks round and about. Baguettes and croissants can be ordered at the shop. Enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this site.
