A pleasant campsite for overnight and longer stays in natural surroundings right on the Mosel. 8 km from the old town of Toul. Some noise from jet fighters. Lovely walking and cycling. Good catering. Ideal for fishing in the Mosel.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed 3 nights in our motorhome. Friendly, efficient reception. We were allocated a pitch facing the river. This is a lovely peaceful site. There is some noise from planes, but not troublesome. Cycle routes on the opposite side of the river, accessed by crossing the barrage. We rode in both directions. Toul is a pretty town with a lovely cathedral. Campsite toilet facilities good with plentiful hot water, though no toilet paper. Campsite restaurant very popular. We had a good meal. Bread is available to order at reception

Travelling party: Couple

A great site on the banks of the Moselle- we loved it here. Used as a stopover site by quite a few but we stayed 5 nights- It was quite peaceful during the day and we did a couple of long walks - one to Toul which seemed to take ages so we got the bus back. Also walked to Maron along the river but nothing was open there at all so couldn’t even get a coffee. We decided the best thing next time is to bring a bike as cycle paths everywhere. Loud aircraft from time to time but we quite liked that. Lovely restaurant on site and the reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Travelling party: Couple

This campsite is down a steep tarmacked road and site of the River Moselle at the bottom is a true surprise. All pitches have good access to the river bank even if you are not adjacent as we were. Mosquitoes did not seem to be a problem in a sunny September. There is easy access to a cycle path and we cycled about 12k to Toul which an average town with a lovely cathedral. Toilet facilities are clean and tidy but could do with an upgrade. We ate in the restaurant one evening, the food was well cooked but not particularly French. It was very clean and the food came very promptly. The site was wonderfully quiet and most people on the site were Dutch.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

We only stayed one night on our journey up France. The campsite was set in a really beautiful area. The staff seemed a bit off to be honest but maybe it was just a long day. Bouncy castle for the kids was fantastic. The toilets weren't great at all sadly
