Travelling party: Couple

This site is excellent if you want a quite stop off while driving through the center of France just off the A20. Next to a lake with good sized pitches will stay again. The restaurant on the lake is well worth a try. if you like peace and quiet with not much to do but relax before you move on then this is the place for you.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Enjoyed three nights here (was only going to be one but the site was nice so we stayed longer!) Relaxed and friendly vibe on the site, the owners were very friendly and helpful, taking obvious pride in their site which is personalised throughout with little objets. Home cooked meals and bar in the family in restaurant with decent priced ice creams!

Spent 2 wonderful days at this campsite. Arrival procedure very straightforward, just pitch at anytime and pay between 1600 - 1800. When we arrived most of the lower pitches were taken and particularly those immediately on the lake. However, we ventured to the upper level where we found several amazing pitches overlooking the lake and campsite from a higher aspect, the views were just fantastic. Separate toilet, shower and dish washing facilities were provided on the upper level, there were also steps down to reception, the laundry and restaurant etc. The owners of the site were extremely hard working and nothing was too much trouble for their customers, one of the best sites we have stayed on in both France and the UK, we will, for sure, return. The walk to the medieval village was steep but well worth it, with interesting architecture, quaint streets and a selection of shops (bakery, small supermarket, hairdresser, pharmacy etc). There was also a pizza restaurant and a cafe.

I was impressed with the Quirkiness of this Site. Lots of quirky items all. Around the site. Reception was Open 5pmto 6pm so. We. Pitched Ourselves then Went To Pay. Lovely Dutch owner. Toilet block had Music Playing, lovely touch. Well signposted from A20 junc 42. Beautiful Site with beautiful views and a Great walk around the small Lake.

This is the second time we have used this site as a stopover. Easy distance from A20 and a quirky feel! We were made very welcome . The office has restricted opening hours but you are invited just to find a space and book in later. Washroom facilities were spotless but could struggle if the site was busy.

Used as a one night stopover.Nice decent size pitches seperated by large hedges next to lake and man made beach.facilities ok.Didnt seem to be much in the immediate area.Night spoilt by rude male owner accusing us of not paying the night before,If he had asked us politely then we would have shown him our receipt, instead I shoved it in his face with a glare.Dont bother with the wifi, only a euro but rubbish unless your sat in reception!Would use again as a stopover only because it is conveniently located.

Travelling party: Couple

Really nice small site by lake with man made beach. Pitches decent size with hedges. Facilties all adequate. Only stayed one night as a stopover, didn\'t seem to much to do locally. All was going well until male owner accused us of not paying and was rude about it, Went and got our reciept and shoved it in his face, he looked rather sheepish but didn\'t apologise. Dont waste your euro with the Wifi as its rubbish unless your sat in reception. Would use again as a stopover despite the rude owner...

Travelling party: Seniors

Excellent site and very nice people, stayed longer than originally planned so peaceful and we had sunshine every day. Campsite and lake were brilliant especially the restaurant open in October a bonus, the village was disappointing. We will definitely be back though.

Travelling party: Seniors

Very friendly reception. Excellent restaurant on site. Good sized individually hedged pitches. Lovely walk around the lake with or without a dog. Easy access from A 20. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here whilst on our way to Spain. previous 2 nights were spent in aires. No heater in our camper so decided to spoil ourselves with ehu. Glad we did as woke up to a frost. Well kept site next to a lake with a man made beach, really quiet during the day and night. Would definitely stay again.
