Travelling party: Seniors

Just planning next trip away, which reminded me I didn’t put a review for this site. Stayed overnight here in May on our way North. Easy campsite to get to from autoroute, as mentioned previously there is a L’Eclerke superstore in walking distance. Staff very helpful & was guided to a suitable flat pitch. Toilet facilities fine. Thank you

We stayed here for four nights. A good place to either stopover or stay for a few days to visit surrounding area. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. There is a nice restaurant near by plus a L’eclerc all within walking distance. There is also a lake which is a pleasant walk.

Easy access from the autoroute and no road noise. Easy to access the site & pitches. The chap in reception spoke English & he saw our 7.5 metre caravan & allocated us a large pitch. We were shown to the pitch by a man on a golf buggy which saved us driving round. It was a huge grassy level pitch that we could just drive onto & didn't need to unhitch if just overnight but we had booked 2 nights. The nearby toilet block was fine, separate male & female areas. No toilet paper but clean & plenty of hot water. You could have wifi for 24 hours use - not great but adequate service. It rained for the first whole day but the pitches were hard standing in the main so not too wet. We had a day out exploring the very interesting Oradour sur Glane & Limoges. A very good stop over site but worth 2 nights to have a look around the area.

Very welcoming staff and you were shown to your pitch. Site was busy and typical city site with fairly frequent bus to city a half mile pleasant walk by the lake which was very low so not very attractive to look at. Facilities were adequate, but the swimming pool is really a very large splash pool already packed away when we were there.

Travelling party: Couple

The site is in a good location, close to motorway and with easy access to Limoges. We didn't notice any road noise. The staff were very welcoming and showed us to our pitch. This was a hard stand and a good size. We were disappointed that the pool was not yet open (they were awaiting their health and safety certificate) as the temperature was in the 30s. The toilets were clean during our stay.

Travelling party: Couple

We did not like being able to chose a pitch, there was loud music from a near by venue until about 10.30 pm. I still can not figure out how the photographer managed to make the 3 Mtr x 4 Mtr pool look so big, but it was not open anyway. Very poor wifi kept dropping out.

Travelling party: Couple

Easy to locate and minutes from a Leclerc supermarket and petrol. Very pretty next to a lake. Very warm welcome from the owners. Bread available by order. Toilets and shower block clean, but looked a little tired. Would definitely return as a stopover.

Travelling party: Couple

Site located near a park which was good for an evening walk. Helpful staff and a good pitch. Only negative comment was the men's wc which smelled not good and well worn ( but was end of season).

Travelling party: Couple

Excellent site for visiting Limoges. Suitable for motorhomes as pitches are hardstanding. Bus stop to Limoges centre is about 150metres away. Bus goes every 15 minutes. Site and staff highly recommended.

Stayed overnight mid June. Can only say toilet facilities were adequate. Pool not open and no other facilities open. However staff very friendly.
