We enjoy this campsite during several weekends a year. They have sites with private toilets and showers which is very confortable. The pools are AMAZING and they have really beatiful evening shows. They have several playgrounds for children and also funny children entertaiment. There are several restaurants with quality food. The staff is friendly and they speak several languages.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Stayed for 13 days on a comfort pitch. Having our own shower & toilet was wonderful. The pitch was a good size. Very quiet. Easy access to beach & cycle path. On site shop was very reasonable and well stocked. Fresh bread daily. Swimming pools excellent. Good quality food. All staff excellent. Market well worth a visit. Will be back again in September.

An excellent 5 star site. We came as a recommendation travelling from Lake Garda 1000k away to escape the terrible weather and stayed 22 nights on a standard pitch. Many of them are gravelled and almost all have plenty of shade. The campsite has lots of facilities and also direct access to a very large sandy beach. The best Wi-Fi, throughout the campsite, we have ever experienced and free, on the pitch too. The showers & toilets are kept spotlessly clean all day long. Very large raised solarium, away from the pool, with lots of high quality sunbeds & chairs and covered areas for shade. Large pool below with slides etc and covered indoor pool too. A fully equipped gym with equipment actually working and useable. Easy & flat cycling from the site with marked cycle path routes too starting at the campsite beach gate. 4 supermarkets all within about 1 mile easily accessed by cycle or foot. Plenty of facilities for kids. All the staff were friendly, engaging and excellent. English spoken at reception. Many permanent lodges etc for hire with a good turnover of French families but did not detract from the camping experience but a little noisy at times early morning when they depart with vehicle doors repeatedly closing and many dogs on site. Good bus service from outside the campsite gates to Perpignan which was worth the visit twice. Mainly French campers but also Brits, Dutch, German, Belgian and Danish whilst we were here which made for a happy & friendly camping experience. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance in Le Barceres. Would highly recommend this campsite if this is what you are looking for.

One of our favourite camp sites. We keep coming back so it must be doing something right. We chose pitches with private shower/toilet blocks but the communal shower blocks are fine. The site is very close to the sea and a nice walk along the promenade to the main town square with markets several days a week and several nice restaurants. There are very good cycle ways to other villages and just 15 minutes cycle to an Aldi, Lidl and big supermarket. So much to do here. Our dog used to love swimming in the fresh water where the adjacent river joins the sea. Would recommend to anybody

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of October and had a wonderful time. We had a pitch with private facilities which absolutely fantastic.

I used the swimming pool and joined in a daily walk and a couple of Yoga sessions with Giles and both were great.

The site is in a wonderful position with the river meeting the see on the edge of the Pyrenees.

I would definitely recommend a visit.

Travelling party: Seniors

We were looking to stay here for 7 days but unfortunately the site was unsuitable for us. The pitches on the main site (Floride) were too small so we were offered a selection on the other side of the road as they were larger. We found the density of the overhanging trees very claustrophobic. Only 1 pitch suited us but it was not available. We went elseware.
