Travelling party: Couple

We arrived for a stopover at this friendly little campsite and ended up staying 3 nights. Whilst it is not the prettiest or best kept campsite, pitches are level, of a reasonable size and many delimited with trees and shrubs. The trees are tall allowing for a lot of natural light which we loved. The toilet facilities are adequate although while we were there only 1 block was open which was barely sufficient. The site is well located, walking distance from a small village with a particularly good bistro/bar, cycling distance from a couple of larger villages and the fabulous Força Real viewpoint, and a short drive from several excellent castles, wineries and gorges. The icing on the cake is very good onsite bar/restaurant, definitely one of the best we\'ve had at any campsite we\'ve visited.
