No waste bins, recycling long long walk.pitches soft mud in rain, need hard standing to avoid stranding in rain.Inadequate lights in facilities.Stunning views but long leads needed for hook up.Overpriced compared to Spain a short drive away.
Disappointed with this site - was told it was full on arrival but then, as we had a small unit, was shown to a pitch that was difficult to access. Despite having a lovely sea view, we were surrounded by other pitches at every angle and unfortunately were kept awake way past midnight by inconsiderate neighbours.
At reception the next morning we were offered a different pitch but we decided to leave.
We were disappointed with site. We moved pitch so had mountain and sea views but neither of our pitches were particularly good. One was entirely concrete- but a picnic table was provided- and the other was so narrow and close to the road that we were unable to put the awning up. They also added night \'tax\', which is more than anywhere else. Gripes asides, the facilities were spotless and the location excellent. Collioure is a must visit place with restaurants, shops and historic buildings. Campsite overpriced.
Fab site with great clean facilities...good security too. Good value in low season... site quite busy even in late September. The view of the Med every morning from your pitch is beautiful.... you may have to wait for a pitch to be vacant to get a view, but worth it. Shop well stocked. Can walk to Argeles and Colliure from site although hilly to walk well worth it .. good tennis court and swimming pool to and access to small cove beach from site. I will definitely return.
On a pitch with amazing sea views. Site is busy, but quiet enough. Facilities good with lots of hot water. Very international mix of guests, which we like. Staff helpful & friendly. Overall, a really nice site but may not suit larger units or twin axle caravans. We\'d recommend and use again.
Very large well organised site, lovely staff with excellent English! Good facilities although could do with more than one drier to 5 washing machines in the wet weather we have had! Very busy, we were in a small van so able to go down steep access into lower pitches overlooking sea so felt more private. Didn\'t make use of restaurant, shop, pool or leisure facilities so can\'t comment. Beach small and rocky, pretty but can\'t imagine it would fit many people in summer!
Stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Spain. Well run campsite - after checking in we were shown different pitches to choose from. We couldn\'t understand why we weren\'t offered one of the pitches with a sea view until the man showing us around explain that the slope down to the pitch would have bottomed out our underslung tank. Not a problem though as we were able to move the following day to a pitch at the top of the terrace which more than comfortably accommodates larger motorhomes and the views were spectacular. Toilet facilities spotless and showers had plenty of hot water. The walk into Collioures along the rocky cliff path is quite challenging- alternatively following the cycle route is easier and takes 20-30 mins. Much easier with electric bikes! Market on a Sunday was bustling with good choice of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!
Very nice site. Well laid out. Some pitches overlooking the sea. Pretty windy in May. No waste or water on any pitches.
Showers and disabled showers by the restaurant cold and need updating. Others on top of hill much better and modern.
Excellent site, staff very friendly & helpful. Restaurant/bar ran by very friendly & welcoming staff & good food. Shower/toilet facilities clean, we will definately be back. 1 let down was the lack of respect by a minority of dog owners, the site provides an abundance of dog pooh collecting bags.
We were puzzled by the directions, but just followed them and access was OK.
A large busy site but pleasant nevertheless. We usually prefer quieter sites, but stayed over a week.
Visitors are taken on arrival on a buggy to view available pitches. The site is terraced, laid out rather like the branches of a tree. Many pitches have views of the sea. Pitches vary a lot, some have shade, some don\'t.
Staff very obliging and helpful, well stocked little shop, small but good pool, modern and clean toilet facilities.
We had heavy rain one evening and night and it became very soft underfoot, but the ground dried out quickly and when dry, brushed off our shoes etc very easily.
Aqua-fit, yoga available free, also guided walk if there are enough people.
Access to small stony beach down steps from the site itself, but there are also two better small beaches within 15-20 minutes walk. There is a much larger sandy beach at Argeles sur Mer, a short drive away, large car park.
Collioures is a busy touristy place with three beaches, market, worth a visit. Coastal, hill and mountain walks, and cycling. The etangs to the north are worth a visit.
