WE booked a specific numbered pitch & paid in full last November 2017, all confirmed by email, when we arrived, they had let the specific pitch to somebody else, the pitch we eventually used had no view, so basically they are in "Breach of Contract", as they could not supply what we had booked & were looking forward to, manager was not that particularly bothered about it, basically it put the dampers on the holiday, plus they had football teams staying as well, so very noisy, went to have a meal in the restaurant on one of the weekend days only to be informed that it was fully booked (not to campers, but to an outside company??) the pitch & sanitaire, were poorly maintained, couldn't walk on pitch without shoes on, also had 3 problems with sanitaire, dividing hedges were untidy & not trimmed, flora & fauna was excellent but a bit overdone in places (to many trees) how it has a 5* rating is beyond us??

One of the best campsites we have been to. First class pitches, first class pool and first class over all campsite environment. We did not have a meal at the restaurant so cannot comment We will definitely be returning when we are in the area. Staff were also first class. A campsite not to be missed.

There are many campsites in the area but we were very happy we chose le Dauphin. All the staff were so freindly and helpful and requests were dealt with immediately. Pitches are a good size and some have their own bathrooms. But we were on an ordinary pitch and the shower block was clean and modern. The pool area is stunning. There are pools for every one, from the pirate ship for little ones to big slides for the braver swimmers. And everywhere ther are lovely shrubs and trees. The owner enjoys gardening and all over the site the many different shrubs and trees are named and, ofcourse, very well cared for. Another thing that impressed me about this site was that we were there during its final 2 weeks of opening. But there was no indication that they were winding down. All the pools remained open as did the bar, restaurant and all the activities that were on offer. This is how it should be , but not all sites remain in full swing as le Dauphin does. So, an excellent site and one we would return to.

Lovely campsite in beautiful surroundings. The best facilities we have found in 45 years of camping. Very friendly, helpful staff and children are well catered for. Prices compare to other Mediterranean sites and a bit cheaper than Spain. We prefer to camp nearer to the beach but hope to come again next year when our family will be here. Top marks!!!

The three swimming pools, one with hydro massages, jacuzzis and slides, one for small children and one for lane swimming and excercises, were excellent. The gardens and surrounding area were kept in immaculate condition. We had a pitch with its own toilet and shower, all very good condition and very clean. Access to the pitches inside the camp was very good and on level ground. Restaurant was excellent. Beaches just a short drive away and very good. All in all, an excellent campsite and anyone travelling in the area of Argeles Sur Mer this is a must stay.

A very good and well kept site, amenities very good, staff very helpful and friendly. I stayed at this site in 2014 which was very pleasurable, unfortunately the acsi staying times are very short, so I won't be going this year 2015 which is a shame because the site is certainly not busy until end of June.

Superb campsite, friendly staff , well looked after , the best campsite we have stayed in, the private sanitaire are great it should be the way forward for all campsites. Once you go to le Dauphin no other campsite will be good enough.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Disappointingly noisy. Once the Surrounding music finally stopped early in the morning the non stop barking dogs could heard. Then followed by gunfire as was the start of the shooting season. Very nice pool complex but pool really needs heating, you will see in the photos why it looks empty as it's so cold.
