Excellent campsite in a very convenient position, 5 minutes walk to beach, a variety of shops and restaurants and a reasonably sized and stocked Intermarche. We were given a warm welcome and every member of staff we came across was friendly and helpful. The pool area was especially impressive and exceptionally well stocked with chairs and sun beds. The toilet facilities were kept spotlessly clean but lacked paper and hand washing facilities. The showers were warm rather than hot. These were minor niggles that did nothing to stop us extending our five days to eleven and even then we were reluctant to move on.
Friendly staff at reception. Motor home pitches felt very claustrophobic... Very close to neighbouring campers. Most other campers in our area were longterm caravanners, not friendly. Very disappointed with the toilets... worst we\'ve had... no toilet seats, toilet paper, sanitary bins, soap or dryers. Moved on after one night.
On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful, our pitch was largish, if you had a big caravan with awning and a large car you may struggle, the toilet facilities were very good with lots of hot water, there are 5 swimming pools on this site so there was lots of space to swim, there is a lot of static caravans on this site which doesn't bother us but as we have read some people are bothered about it, out side you cross the main road to get to the very nice promenade, if you have children be aware, not a major problem but something worth mentioning.
Stayed here in our campervan for a week mid September. A very enjoyable break from our touring. Large, busy site even at this time but comfortable pitch (dry, dusty and hot but with both sun and shade), friendly talkative neighbours and passers-by and quiet at night. Good sanitary facilities - clean and no queues (but no loo paper - why?). Lovely pool complex with bar/cafe and another bar with activities and free wifi. All staff, reception and site, helpful. Little shop on site with freshly made bread, pizzas, chips, etc. Outside the site: a whole array of small shops, stalls, restaurants and a market three times a week. 300 m to great beach and the promenade. Easy walking/cycling to the port where there is a ferry link to Collioure. Bus link to Perpignan for 1euro. Lots to do (or not) - an enjoyable, 'feel-good factor' site.
A very disappointing experience, pitches small and heavily shaded with narrow access. Many holiday reps driving their electric carts backwards and forwards all day on this massive site. One of our chairs was stolen from outside the van overnight. We moved to another site after two nights...
Disappointing, the pitches whilst quite large were dark and shaded. The staff were good and very friendly. Didn't think much to the town but we did have 1 superb meal at the marina. Buses are excellent to towns on the coast. Wouldn't return.
We stayed at this site for 7 nights and it was very good indeed. We will return because the staff were friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. The pool was excellent but the pitch we had was too shady. A motorhome service point would be great addition. A great holiday. Thankyou ACSI and La chappelle
