Lovely site with easy access for a large camping car. We did opt to pay the additional money for a larger pitch with a covered pergola. Swimming pool and restaurant were both closed as end of season. It is situated alongside a small river which you can access.
An easy walk into the town of Florac which is gorgeous with a village walk and restaurants.
Sanitary block was average with plenty of hot water. The area is beautiful and worth a visit.
This is a lovely bright campsite with pitches offering full shade through to totally open and sunny. Some pitches have a free standing shade area for a small charge. The pool is quite small but caters well for children. The sanitation blocks are fine with mainly mixed blocks. There is one small facility for woman but many of the men didn’t see the sign. Not a problem. The water is piping hot and all the facilities were kept very clean.
There is a small bar/snack bar outside where the tv was available for anyone who wanted to watch the World Cup. There is free WiFi on site which works reasonably well but not great for any downloading.
All the staff we met were very personable and friendly.
Florac town is a short 15 minute walk away. The tourist office is very helpful and there is an English leaflet with a guided walk around places of interest in the town. There are some good hikes in the area plus a wonderful trip down along the Gorge de Tarn.
Helpful staff and lovely laid out campsite with good size pitches. Facilities clean, but rather oddly had a block of just WCs. Washing up water seriously hot and showers excellent. Did not use pool, but looked fine. Easy walk into Florac where the church has a history of Robert Louis Stephenson in English. The area is stunning, but very twisty turney both in and out.
