We shared a tent on a good sized fairly private pitch hedged on three sides, right next to our own bathroom facility. The pitch itself was nice and flat with an electric hook up and a modern tidy shower amenity, which helped to make us feel more refreshed after some heavy nights rain and wind. The entertainment facilities were pretty good, good range of sports facilities such as archery, paddle tennis, badminton and area for communal BBQ. There were plenty of shops and services e.g concierge, swimming gear, bakery with a good range of produce and services. The only real let downs were the choice of food outlets (it was low season so not all open) and the public transport links into Vias by bus which were every few hours. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Sunelia campsites are of a very good quality by all accounts and well worthy of being in ACSI guide.
Stayed here for nights on a stop over to Spain. Very big site split into two sections, mainly wooden bungalows with around 38 fully serviced camping pitches with 10amp, water and waste. Access is very good off the motorway and easy to find opposite the small airport. Internal roads to and from the pitches which are within the Dragonniere section, as quite tight going through the bungalow sections. Could be an issue I high season. Pitches are a good size with hedges separating each one and own bathroom. Booking in, you need to park outside to choose your pitch and get an entry code for the barrier. Allow half an hour for this.
The site is split into two sections, there is only one section for camping. many swimming pools, shops, restaurants and bars, and is high quality. Not everything was open when we arrived and some were undergoing renovation. Entertainment on going throughout season and finishes quite early at 23:30.
great value for money @ ACSI 18 Euro per night, but this was increased to 26 Euro when taxes were added. Not a big deal considering the facilities, but not much below booking direct for this time of year. Most expensive taxes paid in Europe!
This is, without doubt THE best site we have ever stayed on. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who seem to take delight in making your stay as enjoyable and stress free as possible. Every single pitch has its own bathroom with toilet, shower (loads of HOT water,) basin and even its own washing up sink. The pitches are large and most well shaded. if a little uneven but not to the extent it's a problem. Every facility you could want on site, three fabulous swimming pools plus toddlers pool plus a baby pool, bars snack bars restaurants chippie, fresh pizza outlet well stocked supermarket, boulangier with fresh bread daily, cash point etc etc. The only downside I felt was the fact that (noisy outdoor) entertainment went on until 23:00 which seemed a bit late but it didn't spoil our experience. At the height of the season I would imagine it would be very busy due to the large number of (very luxurious) cabins. If only all campsite were like this!!! Just a word of warning the ACSI rate doesn't include local taxes etc but it must still rate as one of the best bargains in the ACSI catalogue, simply wonderful we will without any doubt at all be returning in the future (our stay was in mid Sept and the weekends were very busy so arrive Thursday or early Friday to avoid disappointment.
The staff are delightful nothing is to much trouble everything done with a smile. The pitches all have their own ensuite that are immaculate, lots of hot water, also each pitch has its own washing up sink, electric and tap. The only moan is the pitch they are not level and are churned up by the motorhomes!
I would not like to be here peak time because there are hundreds of Cabins etc so must be very busy. 3 swimming pools (one indoor) Excellent site with lots to do on the site and around the area.
this is a holiday village and a really well kept clean and tidy one. I imagine in season it is very busy but at this time of year it was really quiet. limited number of camping pitches all with private bathroom suite.very contemporary finish.wetroom shower toilet and vanity basin with copious hot water plus sink outside for dishes etc also with hot water. first time we had used the private bathroom facility and have tried others since which do not hold a candle to this one! swimming pools both outdoors and indoors plus a large man made lagoon with sandy beach. assortment of shops and bars restaurants on site plus spa outdoor gym and children's play areas. only drawback I can think of is its not really close to anything else but they do run a shuttle bus to nearest beach about 3 kilometres away. we paid 26 euros a night including local taxes but feel it is definitely worth it.
