Camp for €16,- a night at Camping Club Californie-Plage in low season with CampingCard ACSI. A well equipped campsite with a beautiful leisure pool, positioned by the sea in a poplar wood. The pitches are marked out by hedges including oleanders. The heated indoor swimming pool has a roof that can be opened.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Een zeer slecht verzorgde camping. Hangjongeren wat tot heel lang in de nacht samen komen en muziek luisteren en hard praten. Personeel zeer onvriendelijk en gaan met elkaar smorgens vroeg bij elkaar staan en hard praten. Personeel maken hun eigen regels. De wc\'s en douches stinken heel erg en zijn zeer vies, overal haren en beesten en zand. De douches en de afwasbakken zijn ijskoud. Geen wc brillen. De wasmachines zijn heel slecht de was is nog viezer als het eruit komt. Er worden banden van de fietsen kapot geprikt en gestolen van de staanplaats. Het zwemwater is ijskoud. Er werd niet vermeld dat je aan de overkant kunt gaan zwemmen. De prijzen in de supermarkt zijn super duur en als je naar een andere winkel wilt dan kan je in de file gaan staan. De stranden zijn vies en veel stenen. Kortom het is het geld niet waard en de camping verdient geen sterren. Wij zullen nooit meer terug komen.

Ik lees de beoordelingen en denk dan: Wat wilt u eigenlijk? Een 5 sterren hotel of een prima onderhouden camping? De toiletten en de douches zijn prima en schoon. Er wordt verschillende keren per dag goed schoongemaakt. Helaas maken sommige gasten er kennelijk een zootje van, maar de schoonmaaksters blijven trouw alles weer schoon maken. Het nieuwe waterpark ziet er netjes en schoon uit. Ook het campingrestaurant is prima. Het restaurant aan zee is soms gesloten: het is een openlucht restaurant en als het regent of hard waait wordt het gesloten omdat er dan toch geen belangstelling heeft. De supermarkt is ook netjes, maar moet je niet vergelijken met een carrefour of grote Lidl in Agde. Maar wie haalt alle boodschappen op de campingsupermarkt? Ik vind Californie-plage een prima camping waar wij al jaren met veel plezier komen. En is er eens iets mis dan wordt na een melding bij de receptie zo spoedig mogelijk aktie ondernomen!

Grote camping met ruime plaatsen en vriendelijk, Nederlands sprekend, personeel. Er is veel vertier voor kinderen: piratenschip e.d. Camping ligt direct aan zee maar heeft een paar kleine strandjes, de rest bestaat uit rotsblokken. Sanitair is ok en goed schoon. Mooi binnen- en buitenzwembad. Fietsen naar Beziers langs het Canal du Midi.

Californie Plage in Vias-Plage is een mooie camping met veel mobil homes en ook genoeg kampeerplaatsen. Ligt direct aan het strand, heeft naast een overdekt zwembad samen met de ernaast gelegen camping een fantastisch zwemparadijs. Op het terras van de strandbar heb je een schitterend uitzicht over de middellandse Zee. Kortom: een aanrader.

Keurige camping en heel goed sanitair goede fiets mogelijk heden. Goede staan plaatsen voor caravan. Spreken, Duits,Engels.

Travelling party: Seniors

Vrij grote en luxe camping met veel voorzieningen. Wij hadden in april nog geluk: wij konden direct aan de zee staan. Op de camping zijn veel mobilhomes. De plaatsen zijn ruim en in laantjes met flink teruggesnoeide bomen. Sommige zijn wel zanderig. Op de camping is een verwarmd zwembad(je), maar er mag ook gratis gebruik gemaakt worden van het waterparadijs van de camping schuin tegenover. De strandjes bij de camping zijn niet echt bijzonder. Stranden verderop zijn mooier. Er is goed te fietsen richting Agde en Beziers (Canal du Midi).

Hele nette camping direct aan zee. Toiletten worden zeer regelmatig schoongemaakt. (overdekt) zwembad op de camping, maar het tropisch waterparadijs schuin aan de overkant is ook gratis toegankelijk. Aanrader voor zowel senioren als ouders met kinderen.
