We have visited this site twice so far, and will definitely be returning.
We had a very happy few days here. Adjacent to the beach, and a lively little seaside town, with good shops and restaurants, takeaways etc. Despite it being the end of the season, the site was full and everything was clean and working. Some of the pitches are quite tight and challenging to get into for outfits over 7 metres long.
Chose this site from the pictures, and the review. What a difference in reality. We arrived , not realising the "Med" was rammed with people still, but full signs were up all over town. The staff kindly allowed us, and others to overnight in the car park, at the front, which turned out to be the worst night of our trip. Noise all night from the area, and rubbish collection in early morning. The picture of a spacious pitch, was far from the truth, and in reality this was a pack them in at every point site . Two pitches we were offered were almost impossible to reach, and I am sure only with damage to the Motorhome . So glad we went further along the coast to a lovely 5 star site
We have now visited this site three times. The staff have always been very helpful, friendly and spoke good English. The toilets/showers are always clean and tidy as are the wshing-up facilities. The pitches are sometimes a bit awkward to get our motorhome in but we manage in the end. Access to the beach is so simple and the little town is right outside. We go out of season and it is a perfect spot for relaxation, particularly as there is nothing much to attract the kids except the beach.
Open air wash room so cold in winter. No tumble dryer. Very close to the sea so noisy when rough. Lovely beach. Lovely traditional camp site with no long term stayers.
Spent a great time here without moving far. Immaculate sanitaires, helpful staff. Shop outside gate provides the best baguettes and rose wine. Must return next year.
We have stayed on this site over the last 6 years and will definitely go again. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Beach access is excellent and the swimming is safe.Although the restaurant has superb views over the beach we thought it expensive and the service unfriendly. Fortunately there is a large selection of excellent restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The site is quiet and has very good facilities which are kept clean.
Lovely position next to great beach plenty going on around and lovely view from bar. Sea was spot on we could walk in 2 minutes and be in village in 3.
We stayed here for two weeks in June and will definitely go back. Good facilities, friendly staff, direct access to the beach and right next to the town with its shops and restaurants. Pitch sizes are variable and we had one of the smaller ones, but it was still adequate for our caravan (shipping length 7.2 metres), porch awning and car. Whilst we stayed in low season I would think that the resort could get quite lively and noisy in high season.
What a find!! We were not expecting too much on the coast, but this site was perfect for us. The staff are really friendly and bi-lingual and keen for you to have a good holiday. Emplacements are big and most have a good covering of grass. Toilets are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Although the site does not have a pool, it has direct access to the best beach on the Med. The village centre is right on your doorstep, with a good selection of bars, restaurants, and shops. It is a great base for walkers and cyclists alike with well laid out paths to Marseillan Ville, which has a beautiful old port, Sete, which is like a French Venice, and the southern end of the Canal Du Midi.
