Stayed for 1 week. All pitches level and a choice is given. Services block excellent and very clean. Quiet, easy accessible site with some lovely attention to the gardens and the lagoon was something special with deck chairs to sit in and very fine sand. Loved the swimming pool (right by the bar/pizza/lounge area) with loungers. Montpellier is well worth a visit with lots of pretty squares and narrow streets to wander around. There was a great market (on Saturday) under the old Roman viaduct which is worth a visit in itself. Carcassonne is 1 1/2 hr drive away but the old medieval city is fantastic with shops and eateries inside the walls. Don\'t bother with the little train ride it only goes half way around the outside of the castle and we felt it wasn\'t worth the money.
We called here without a reservation and were able to stay. The man at reception ( one of the owners) was extremely helpful, despite not speaking much English and we were pitched in what looked like a overnight area which was fine for us as we were only staying for one night. The toilet block was very modern and clean but you do need your own toilet paper and soap, but that is not unusual from our experience of touring France. The site has 2 pools, the larger one is called the Lagoon and is absolutely magnificent, with its white sandy beaches and waterfall. The smaller pool is by the snackbar and is heated. We ate at the snackbar/restaurant and the food was very good, although the choice is limited, it is all cooked by the other owner. We would definitely return here when we are in the area and I would recommend this site.
One of the most beautiful sites we have been to. Lovely reception, friendly and helpful. Could pick our pitch. As it was hot we were very pleased about shade. A beautiful designed sanitary block, slightly raised, surrounded by a water channel, giving an island feeling. Well kept and clean. Lot of frogs, so might be a bit noisy for some people. Swimming pool at reception area with a bar/restaurant in main season. Furthermore a beautiful natural lagoon with a real sandy beach. Lovely! The town of Fabregues is not far, easy to reach by car or bike. If you are good on foot, a nice walk takes you there. Possibility for nice bike rides through vineyards and even to Montpellier.
The site is good for visiting Séte or Montpellier. For Montpellier take one of the parking sites along the tramway. Pay and punch your ticket in the tram. You can't park for that amount in the city.
Would come back here eny time.
Rude staff, not welcoming, I felt very intimidated by one of the male owners. Typical low budget French site not providing basics such as toilet roll or soap. Many better sites in the area.
This is a great site! You have to stay just for the lagoon!
They have landscaped the site (hence Botanic) with various plants etc and they have little signs around explaining them. The lagoon is amazing - almost paradise! Blue water, white sands with palm tree unbrellas around it ... very relaxing and much warmer to swim in that several 'heated' pools we have been to!
Wifi by recpetion, but wasnt that strong a signal - free though!
Montpellier is a little tricky if you dont have a car or scooter - you can drive to local tram stop where its a couple of euro into town. Well worth the trip.
Camping is erg goed verzorgd.
Is nagenoeg een botanische tuin. .
