Came here last year, and have returned for a longer stay. Overall we love this site, and it seems so do a lot of other campers, as the site always had people queuing to get into the site, who presumably had decided not to book in advance. We did fortunately , and so got the beach pitch we wanted. Some people were pitched on what was available, and moved around the pitches as better ones were freed up. We found the cycle tracks around the area a great benefit. One down point, is that nothing has changed, I.e. , the site is maintained but has not improved, so facilities are starting to look in need of a makeover, and with so many people, hot water was often lacking, and amount of showers and toilets in adequate at times

The welcome we got here was the worst we have ever have had in 15 years of touring France, the receptionist was that rude we turned around and left. she needs to go on a customer care course, horrible attitude.

Arrived on this site, young lady at reception was very helpful and gave a numerous options on pitches for our twin axle caravan. On visiting all the available pitches none were suitable to negotiate getting our caravan onto the pitches. We thanked the lady in reception and explained the site was not suitable to negotiate a twin axle caravan around sharp corners as roads were not wide enough. On leaving the site a motorhome arrived and due to the tight bends they got caught in the barrier.

Great location, Great staff, lovely swimming pool, shop, and sanitary facilities. Our pitch was spacious and on the beach side of the site, which made it for my sea loving wife . This is really a top quality site, and deserves lots of credit. Flamingoes in the inland lagoons while we were there. This will be one of our ports of call when we return

Made to feel very welcome with a invite for drinks at the bar. Good free wifi around the reception, shop, bar and heated swimming pool - found we could also get a good signal from our large pitch. Lovely going to sleep to the sound of the waves.

Disappointing is the best word I can use ..... not '5 star'!
Toilets needed cleaning - and they may have been 'tickled' once a day, however a good scrub every now and again would not have gone a miss!
Pitches fairly small and access cramped so quite tricky if you have a big rig.
Best thing about this site is when you get out of the site to the beach! Just a shame you cant see any of it from the pitches.
Highlight was when a truck arrived outside our pitch whilst we were eating dinner to repair the road. He proceeded to tip gravel (dust and all) and rake it out. Cant say I would really expect to see that kind of activity at the end of June in a 5 star site.
Tired and in need of an update - bit too much like Butlins for our taste and wont be going back.

Stayed for a few nights. Loved the beach and the little village where we cycled on the flat each day. Stayed near the road and therefore on the ponds. These are mosquito invested so ensure you have spray.

This year was our 4th visit so we must like it. New management does not see to have made any changes. We did have a problem with surface water after a really heavy rain storm when all the pitches were under several cm of water but staff seemed to be trying by putting in new drainage. Will go again

Very friendly site with excellent pitches and large swimming pool. New manager made a real effort offering free drinks and pizza as the weather was a bit poor. Many turned up and all the staff were there to chat with guests. Excellent cycle tracks to neighbouring villages along the ponds and canal.
