This is our second visit & sadly I doubt that we will come back as the site is just so popular so very busy. We were only given the choice of three pitches as we hadn\'t pre booked as expected September to be quiet but it seemed busier than our last visit of June 2015. The reception team are exceptional with a lovely English lady to explain everything. Our pitch was large but near the very busy & noisy main road D613 which runs along the side of the site. It really was exceptionally noisy with hgv\'s thundering along in the week then noisy cars & motorbikes at the weekend. Also the weekend we were there, there was a very very loud \'rave\' type event held on the car park of the Hyper U over the road. The music started at 8pm & was still thumping away at 11.45pm - it was terrible but obviously nothing that the site could influence but really spoilt our stay. The pool facilities are fabulous. The snack bar was great with reasonable priced drinks & the pizzas very tasty & handy. I felt the sanitaries could have been cleaned a little better. All the public areas were very tidy with good recycling facilities. The surrounding area was brilliant for cycling - we loved the area with marinas, promenades & markets. Sadly for us the site is just too noisy & we found the continuous noise from the main road quite stressful. We had 12 nights but won\'t be returning due to the external noise but we do love the site & it\'s facilities.
A very good site with superb swimming pools and jacuzzi, water chute etc. We had a nice big pitch with private bathroom which was a real bonus. Oleander hedges all round so not overlooked. As is usual in the South of France you do need ground sheets as It is near impossible to grow grass in that heat leaving the ground like dirty sand and stubbly bits of grass. English lady in reception was very helpful. 15 mins cycle to beach or 15 mins in opposite direction takes you to the town of Agde with markets Sunday and Thursday. Lovely cycle track down the river in Agde then take the small ferry across the river to Grau Agde. The shop on site doesn\'t stock much but the HyperU supermarket is five mins by bike. Surprisingly the bar with snack food on site closes at 7 pm in June with the camp almost full! There is a restaurant though where you can buy frites to take away. All in all one if the best sites we\'ve ever been on in France. Highly recommended.
A lovely campsite with a fantastic pool area. We didn\'t get one of the pitches with attached bathroom but not an issue as the communal toilets & showers were close to our pitch. I thought at times the toilets/showers could have been cleaned a bit more throughly but some of that is down to the actual users! A lovely English lady booked us in at reception & provided plenty of information. It was fairly quiet at night when we were there in June. The site was busy but the pool area so big there was always plenty of sunbeds available. We loved the cycle rides into Agde & the surrounding area. Really enjoyed our stay on this site.
