Welcome to Camping Le Mas de Mourgues, located in an open area of the Camargue in the Gard between Nîmes and Saintes Maries de la Mer. A family campsite with 58 pitches. Le Camargue is also known for the sun, its beaches and for doing nothing. Great for cycling. Nice cycle path to Aigues-Mortes and on the Via Rhona.

Great location for visiting the Carmague, we loved Arles, Argues Mortes etc and walking along the canal paths. Vervaux has good supermarkets and is only a couple of minutes away. Owners are charming and friendly.
Downside of site is that road noise is terrible all the time, Wi Fi reception is dreadful, mixed semi open air loos and showers with no toilet seats are very basic and no hot water most of the time.
Lovely quiet site in the Petit Camargue. Toilets clean and excellent showers. Site staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely pool. Quit and relaxin site - will return.
A great site, good sized pitches. Good facilities, very clean, good clean pool albeit small. Very limited food at the bar which all closes too early but the mussels & chips night was good. happy hour which we were looking forward to was not as friendly as previous reviews had said but possibly because we were one of the few English people on site. Would return.
Lovely friendly small campsite, Cyril and Sandra are great hosts. Plenty to do and see in the near vicinity if you like wild life, sea and open countryside and Arles, Nimes etc are only a short distance away. Happy hour on the terrace is a good time to meet other campers of different nationalities and sample the local wines. Bread, croissants etc are available every morning to order and supermarkets are only a few kilometres away. We will certainly be making our fourth visit probably next year.
Wonderful site, in the middle of vinyard, facilities were excellent, the staff were brilliant. My wife particularly enjoyed the fresh bread daily, and the daily happy hour was a really good social ice breaker. Will be returning soon.
Sometimes one can find a perfect camp site that ticks all the boxes. We have a large pitch with sun and shade 50 metres from the very nice pool and the spotless facilities, the welcome is warm and friendly, there is excellent cycling along canals with paved surfaces and WiFi all over the site although at 1.5 Mbps it is a bit slow.
The supermarket Lidl is a 20 minute cycle along a dedicated path canal side.
One of my very favourite campsites.
Very pleasant small site run by young French couple, very helpful. Some pitches are shaded, some more open. Facilities recently renovated, very well maintained. Good area for cycling, or walking. Various places of interest a short drive away. The Centre de découverte du Skamandre is worth a visit - walk around nature reserve. Saw three nonchalant coypus and countless herons, storks, herons etc. Recommended.
We were only going to stay over night but ended up being there 3. Lovely bike rides on safe, flat tracks. Facilities immaculate. Although we did use the bar it was very popular. Pretty town 7 kilometres away.
Loved this place.
Lovely reception from the owner who spoke reasonable english. Spacious pitches, the ground was very hard when we were there so bring strong pegs for tent or awning.
All the facilities were clean and well maintained but there was a foull smell near the toilet area. Nice pool.
Convenient for visiting the Camargue, Aigues Mortes, etc. Good cycle routes also.
Nearby Vauvert has all the facilities.
