Family campsite set in natural greenery in a part of the Camargue, located in the Gard, between Nîmes and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. Le Camargue means sun, beaches and doing nothing. It's fantastic for cycling. There is a beautiful cycle path to Aigues-Mortes, along the Via Rhona. Small but great swimming pool.

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely find. Great tarmac cycling along nearly canals and railway lines as well as into Petite Carargue a twitchers delight. Saw several Coypu with babies as well as my first ever Bittern. Gallician village has a good busy bar with menu de jour 1km plus another restaurant near canal and a great coop wine cave with free tasting. Whats not to like. Definitely stop again when in area.

Family run campsite who are on hand to assist travellers. The pitches vary regarding the amount of shade available. The bar and restaurant provide a reasonable selection of food all cooked by the campsite owners. It can get very busy so arrive at 6:00pm to eat and enjoy happy hour reduced priced drinks and quicker service. The pool area is well looked after. The toilets and showers are OK but do get a lot of use. Regularly paper runs out in the main washroom. Good large modern washer and driers. Bread available to order. The location is perfect to explore the Camargue and the town of Arles. Many superb cycle routes available from the site. We stayed twice as long as we had planned because the site is so good. We would recommend to any traveller coming to the Camargue.

Stayed 1 night, then returned for 4. Friendly welcome. Ideal for cycling to number of towns. 30min cycle to Vauvert and 25min train to Nimes ( only 3 trains per day). Everything you want from a campsite. Saw lots of bats in evening flying overhead and Coypu along the canal.

Beautiful campsite, excellent reception, English spoken. Very friendly staff, most welcoming. Pitches are large mostly shaded + some are on suite ! Wooden huts with shower,toilet, basin. In the country very quiet but close to the Camargue or just chill and read a book. Highly recommend

This is a super place to stay located equal distance between Nimes & Aigues-Mortes, close to the Rhone to Sete canal. We used the site as a base to cycle around the area. The reception on arrival was slick, the Sanitaire areas were modern & very clean and the pitches a generous size. Highly recommend

This is a pretty site with nice emplacements.
Lovely relaxing seating near the snack bar.
pool was well maintained but small for the number of campers during our stay.
the cycle tracks to Aigues Mortes (well worth a visit) were very accessible and straight forward, after crossing the first busy road at the campsite.
