Travelling party: Couple

This is a fantastic site for a stopover or even a longer break if you have a means of transportation to get about. We were warmly welcomed at reception and given a choice of pitch which were all large and flat. The site was spotless with the shower and toilet facilities being super clean and always had hot water. The bar restaurant was inviting with a good choice of food on the menu at affordable prices and you can order bread, pain de raisin etc from reception for the next day. There are fantastic sports facilities for all ages and the pool area was really good with a jacuzzi section and plenty of sun beds. A short 10 minute walk takes you into the delightful town of Goudargues that has delightful restaurants and quality independent shops with a weekly market, highly recommended.We stayed an extra night here as the site and surroundings were so good, you can even do a short 20 minute walk to a vineyard to do tastings. We would definitely return here and it’s highly recommended, thanks to all the fantastic staff for making our stay so pleasant, well done .

Camping Les Amarines is een prachtige, parkachtige camping. Grote staanplaatsen, omgeven met een halfhoge haag en bomen op de hoeken. In het warme klimaat van de Gard, zorgen de bomen voor heerlijke natuurlijke schaduw. De camping heeft een nagenoeg nieuw sanitairgebouw, wat met veel vernuft is aangelegd en goed wordt schoongehouden. Voor liefhebbers van natuurwater, bestaat de mogelijkheid om aan de achterzijde van de camping aan de oever van de Cèze te vertoeven. Ook de honden mogen dan verkoeling zoeken in het water. Het zwembad is verwarmd en netjes verzorgd, niet al te groot, maar met een mooi uitzicht op het dorpje Cornillon. Voor kinderen zijn er diverse speelfaciliteiten op de camping en in het hoogseizoen is er Franstalige animatie. Op de camping kun je ook een eenvoudige, maar smaakvolle maaltijd of ijscoupe nuttigen. De Intermarché ligt op 500 meter van de camping, een Aldi of Lidl op 15 tot 20 km rijden in Bagnols-sur-Cèze en Pont-Saint-Esprit. Vanaf de camping ben je ook in 15 minuutjes naar Goudargues gelopen, een gezellig toeristenplaatsje met diverse terrassen en restaurants. Met de auto op minder dan 1 uur rijafstand verschillende mooie plaatsen te bezoeken, zoals Barjac en Uzès. Wij hebben volop genoten van ons verblijf op Camping Les Amarines. Bedankt Florence, Alain en Valentin voor jullie tomeloze inzet!
