Travelling party: Couple

This is the second visit to this lovely quiet site en route south. Very friendly owner who speaks a few languages. Pitches are all secluded. The shower blocks are dated but clean. The village of Rustiques is a short walk away. There are free talks and a walk to the village from the site with guide. Carcassone is a short drive away as is the Canal du Midi at Trebes. Vinyards a plenty everywhere. We would definitely recommend staying on this site.

Travelling party: Seniors

We loved this site as the pitches were very rustic and in nice countryside. The restaurant was not open so cannot comment. Nice being near Trebes too.

Travelling party: Seniors

This campsite was in a poor state the grass and hedges were not cut and the campsite was very shabby. the bar closed at 8 pm. and in the acsi book it states the site is 10 minutes from Carcassonne but it fails to say this is in a car.

Travelling party: Seniors

Quite isolated but in lovely village. Pitches were very varied in terms of sixe, sun/shade, accessibility and level. Interesting free guided walk around the village.

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed just 1 night on our way south. Lovely pool and decent toilets and showers. Restaurant was not yet open but drinks were available and bread could be ordered for next morning. Very easy to get to from the main road past Carcassonne, would use again when passing that way.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed for six nights from 16/5/19. A very rustic site, very relaxing and although the facilities were very basic, and unisex ,they were always clean. The staff were very welcoming and friendly...lovely pool to cool off in. Cycling to Carcassonne via the canal du midi was enjoyable.... will return.

Travelling party: Couple

Very warm welcome and we were given loads of good information about the area and also places to visit.
Medieval Carcassone is accessible by bus for one euro each way, but also along the Midi Canal. Good cycling, but rough tracks along the canal, but only in places.
This is a little hidden gem, as it rural quiet, but close in supermarkets and the canal where there are cafes etc
We will definitely revisit.

Excellent campsite with lots of shaded pitches. Very helpful staff at reception. Toilets and showers are well located and very clean.

Lovely, friendly site, ideally situated for touring the area. The staff are very knowledgable about their area, plenty of advice available about places to go, places to eat (or not to eat!). No serried ranks of outfits on manicured lawns here; much more informal, sites arranged amongst wooded areas. We were low season visitors, so can’t comment on food, entertainment etc. The guided walk around the local village with Tinus is well worth doing; Tuesday and Friday 10 a.m. Multilingual!
