We stayed for 5 days 8-12 June. Superb area for cycling, that includes VTT along the Canal du Midi. Carcassonne is beautiful, although I believe that Ciudad des Rodrigo is prettier (if you ignore the suburban spread around the town).
Good points: Very friendly staff of 2? Large emplacements for Camping Cars with electricity & water close. The showers were very hot even at the end of the day. Bad points: There is currently one small uni-sex shower block open without disabled facilities. The shower floors are slippery and need additional facilities to keep clothes dry. I use catheters and left them in the small bin, this bin was not emptied in 5 days. The top road used by Camping Cars is heavily potholed.
This campsite when firing on all cylinders (facilities) is worth visiting. The current ACSI guide is inaccurate since the swimming pool, shop, bar & restaurant are closed. I understand we are only one month after confinement was lifted, but work should have been undertaken (or planned) during confinement. The lack of staff is confusing. Restaurants in the nearby town are open both inside and outside. The confirmation email should detail the lack of current facilities.

This is the second visit to this lovely quiet site en route south. Very friendly owner who speaks a few languages. Pitches are all secluded. The shower blocks are dated but clean. The village of Rustiques is a short walk away. There are free talks and a walk to the village from the site with guide. Carcassone is a short drive away as is the Canal du Midi at Trebes. Vinyards a plenty everywhere. We would definitely recommend staying on this site.

We loved this site as the pitches were very rustic and in nice countryside. The restaurant was not open so cannot comment. Nice being near Trebes too.

This campsite was in a poor state the grass and hedges were not cut and the campsite was very shabby. the bar closed at 8 pm. and in the acsi book it states the site is 10 minutes from Carcassonne but it fails to say this is in a car.

Quite isolated but in lovely village. Pitches were very varied in terms of sixe, sun/shade, accessibility and level. Interesting free guided walk around the village.

Stayed just 1 night on our way south. Lovely pool and decent toilets and showers. Restaurant was not yet open but drinks were available and bread could be ordered for next morning. Very easy to get to from the main road past Carcassonne, would use again when passing that way.

We stayed for six nights from 16/5/19. A very rustic site, very relaxing and although the facilities were very basic, and unisex ,they were always clean. The staff were very welcoming and friendly...lovely pool to cool off in. Cycling to Carcassonne via the canal du midi was enjoyable.... will return.

Very warm welcome and we were given loads of good information about the area and also places to visit.
C
Medieval Carcassone is accessible by bus for one euro each way, but also along the Midi Canal. Good cycling, but rough tracks along the canal, but only in places.
This is a little hidden gem, as it rural quiet, but close in supermarkets and the canal where there are cafes etc
We will definitely revisit.
