Very warm welcome and we were given loads of good information about the area and also places to visit.
Medieval Carcassone is accessible by bus for one euro each way, but also along the Midi Canal. Good cycling, but rough tracks along the canal, but only in places.
This is a little hidden gem, as it rural quiet, but close in supermarkets and the canal where there are cafes etc
We will definitely revisit.

Excellent campsite with lots of shaded pitches. Very helpful staff at reception. Toilets and showers are well located and very clean.

Lovely, friendly site, ideally situated for touring the area. The staff are very knowledgable about their area, plenty of advice available about places to go, places to eat (or not to eat!). No serried ranks of outfits on manicured lawns here; much more informal, sites arranged amongst wooded areas. We were low season visitors, so can’t comment on food, entertainment etc. The guided walk around the local village with Tinus is well worth doing; Tuesday and Friday 10 a.m. Multilingual!

Chose this site having read the reviews, booked for 2 nights. Stayed 4 nights as the site was great and so much to see in the area. Only about 10 minutes drive to Carcassone. Will certainly visit the site again when we are in the area.

Travelling party: Couple

Decent pitches and clean facilities which are located in beautiful old building. There's a nice walk into the local village but we weren't able to find a boulangerie, not a problem as the site provided bread. A short drive from the Cite of Carcassonne - which is fabulous. A good sized swimming pool but it was freezing!

Travelling party: Couple

Friendly reception. variety of pitches, bare earth when we were there late in the season. Beautifully located pool. Toilet blocks ok, variable water temp. Free WiFi in bar area. Good for cycling. 10 miles along canal du midi to Carcassonne.
Would happily come back

A beautiful site, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the swimming pool was amazing the pool was clean our only criticism was that the water was extremely cold. Easy access to the pretty village of Rustique on foot. We also cycled into nearby towns without too much difficulty. Pitches were of variable size, ours was a good size. A nice Restaurant/Bar with friendly staff.

Spacious, level pitches and a friendly welcome. Good restaurants in Trèbes a 5 minute bike ride away. We stayed longer than we had planned, and would thoroughly recommend it.

When we arrived we were going to stay two nights just to visit Carcassonne. We extended to three nights. The pitches are various sizes and suitable for trent caravan and campervan. Larger campervan may find this site difficult. Toilets showers etc are basic but clean. Be warned the facilities are shared men and women but we did not find this a problem. The pool is excellent and provides great views of surrounding area while you swim. Lady at campsite gave us excellent advice as to where to park the camper in Carcassonne and also recommended great restaurant to eat the local speciality of cassoulett.

Warm welcome by the owner, with lots of enthusiasm & information. About 2km from Trebes & the canal de midi, easy downhill cycle & not too steep on the return journey. An Intermarche supermarket is just 1km on way to town. Campsite is very peaceful & well maintained although the tree's & Hedge's were a bit overhanging which made the access road a bit tight, but to be fair it was early May & the work was ongoing. The emplacements were all private & a few would have been difficult to get into without a motor mover as they had small tree's in them, the owner helped push our caravan out of ours when we were leaving as it was a bit tight to hitch up in place. There is a great fitness field & play area at back of site with loads of fun exercise machines placed at intervals around a nice walking track. Pool not opened when we were there but it looked fine & large enough for a cooling dip on a hot day. Will definitely use again on way to South coast or Spain, stayed for 4 nights which allowed us a leisurely look around Carcassonne & local towns
